OSAMA TAPE: SOBERING EVIDENCE OF IMMINENT NUCLEAR HOLOCAUST

I had written a post on the new tape released by Osama bin Laden when I found this comprehensive analysis by Reliapundit which is a must read for every American and for all those who could and would be affected by a massive scale attack on her. It convinced me that we are looking at a vast, genocidal nuclear attack which will make 9/11 look like dress rehearsal. You need to read the whole thing. It's really shaken me.

Last year, CNN's Amanpour reported that AFTER 9/11 Bin Laden had received a fatwa (legal/religious permission) to kill 10 million Americans. (CNN link here; CBS link HERE.)

WHAT COULD KILL TEN MILLIONS OF US? A big nuke in NYC. Or a few smaller nukes in a few cities.

This nuclear threat is not coming out of thin air; Bin laden brings up nukes in this speech:

Bin Laden comes close to offering a date for the tape with this by saying, "... just a few days ago, the Japanese observed the 62nd anniversary of the annihilation of Hiroshima and Nagasaki by your nuclear weapons." The anniversary was on August 6.

I DON'T THINK HE BRINGS UP HIROSHIMA TO PROVE WHEN HE MADE THE TAPE. I THINK IT'S A NUCLEAR THREAT.

Also in the most recent tape, Osama once again offers us a chance to convert. IN FACT, HIS SPEECH ENDS WITH THIS OFFER:

"To conclude," bin Laden says, "I invite you to embrace Islam."

According to many, these are requisite steps for him to take BEFORE nuking us. EXCERPT:

After 9/11, bin Laden received sharp criticisms from Islamist scholars that dealt with the al-Qaeda chief's failure to satisfy several religious requirements pertinent to waging war. The critique focused on three items: (1) insufficient warning; (2) failure to offer Americans a chance to convert to Islam; and (3) inadequate religious authorization to kill so many people. Bin Laden accepted these criticisms and in mid-2002 began a series of speeches and actions to remedy the shortcomings and satisfy his Islamist critics before again attacking in the United States.

I feel that the chief reason this tape is being released now is to pressure the Democrats in Congress to vote for immediate withdrawal from Iraq and Afghanistan.

I feel the second message is to his followers: if the Congress fails to vote for retreat, then detonate.

This may happen anytime after 9/11/07. Just a feeling. Based on these excerpts and my firm belief that Tony Blair was right when he said of the enemy, they are only limited buy their means, not by any morals. If they have nukes, then they will use them.

If not here, in the USA then in Europe, or the Green Zone, perhaps, or Kabul. Or Haifa.

UPDATE: THE DCIA'S ASSESSMENT IS AS SERIOUS AS MINE; (AFP):

CIA director Michael Hayden warned Friday that Al-Qaeda was plotting fresh attacks on the United States aimed at sowing death and destruction on a massive scale.

His comments came just days ahead of the sixth anniversary of the September 11 attacks and as the US government said it was analyzing a copy of the latest video message said to have been made by elusive Al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden.

"Our analysts assess with high confidence that Al-Qaeda's central leadership is planning high impact plots against the American homeland," Hayden told the Council on Foreign Relations in New York.

"Al-Qaeda is focusing on targets that would produce mass casualties, dramatic destruction and significant economic aftershocks," he added.

I HOPE BUSH RETALIATES TO ANY UPCOMING MEGA-ATTACK WITH APPROPRIATE FORCE: WE SHOULD TURN A LOT OF PLACES INTO SHEETS OF GLASS AND HEAPS OF DUST, AND THEN BLAST THE SURVIVORS BACK TO THE 8TH CENTURY THEY SO DEARLY LOVE.

(PERHAPS THIS IS WHY THOSE NUKES WERE MOVED TO BARKSDALE: TO READY OUR RESPONSE...???)

ADDENDUM: The fact that we have recently arrested several jihado-terrorists with TATP might argue against the idea they have any nukes - BUT MAYBE NOT: the enemy is made up of cells. The relatively minor cell in Germany was in communication with other cells in Pakistan; our NSA eavesdropping capabilities allowed us to pick up these calls and alert the Germans - in time.
But maybe the cells in the USA, the cells with nukes, are in such deep cover, and under direct control of AQ at HQ, so that they DO NOT USE CELLPHONES, and can only be given the go-ahead via videotape - from the big man at AQ-HQ himself....

UPDATE #2: The fact that nearly all of the al Qaeda websites which usually carry Bin Laden's video have shut themselves down is cause for concern. ESPECIALLY when coupled with the fact that the jihado-terrorist camps in Pakistan's tribal areas have recently emptied, too.

It's as if they are all going to ground in advance of a retaliation they are expecting will come soon.

***UPDATE #3: HOT AIR HAS EXCERPTS FROM THE TAPE. I found it interesting how STIFF Bin Laden sits - stiff and motionless except for his lips and an occasional head-bob UNTIL he says - (at around :22 seconds in the excerpt at HOT AIR/DAILY MOTION): "eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth, and the killer is killed."

This is EXACTLY when he lifts his right hand and makes the "okay" sign.

The right hand is the one which does deeds for God. Before he moves his hand, his right fore-finger is slightly raised (unlike the left hand, whose fingers are ALL touching the table) as if in anticipation for a rehearsed moved, OR A SIGNAL.
