SNEAKY, SLIMY TACTICS OF THE LEFT

WHY do people vote Left since it goes against the primary human need to succeed and to have relevance. There are two key methods (amongst others): creating a dependent vote bank and manipulating the public by the press.

In Brussels at the moment there is an extraordinary struggle playing out. On the one hand you have the industrious Dutch-speaking Flemish half of the country and the, for want of a more charitable word, lazy Walloons, the French-speaking half of the country addicted to welfare. Here is a comment on the situation:

Solidarity in Belgium is (and has always been) a one-way affair, with the Flemings at the contributing and the Walloons at the receiving end. Indeed, the current crisis in Belgium results from the fact that the Flemings want the right to decide what happens to their money, while Walloon politicians veto any reform of the generous Belgian welfare system.

Isn't this the case all over the western world where Marxist nanny states have gained ascendancy? This is how socialism is perpetuating itself; by creating a dependence and then a supply. Forget religion; Marxism is the opiate of the unemployed, disempowered, demotivated, dependent masses of humanity. The realization of how the socialist machine continues to gain votes and momentum hit me when I was reading the comments of Dr E., one of our commentators on the 'Rise of the Feminazis' thread (comment 38). Here are a couple of excerpts:

Labour Party Vote bank, typically a socialist initiative to guarantee a win at every election. All state Labour governments or equivalent internationally have the exact same methodology.
Dependant Vote Bank account- they provide them with your money that they have stolen.

The socialist government takes your taxes (just as the nanny state is robbing the Flemish) and doles it out like heroin to those who haven't earned it and in return, these ever dependent recipients must reward those governments with votes. As the socialist machine pauperizes more and more of us, their power base will increase as those newly poor will have to apply for aid from the governments of the world and hence the vote of the Left continues to grow...NO MATTER HOW WELL THE CONSERVATIVE GOVERNMENTS MANAGE THE ECONOMY OR DO THEIR JOB.

Aiding all that of course is the MSM. It's common knowledge that journalists are far more likely to lean Left than the rank and file population. Here is an interesting insight from a conservative newspaper editor on how the MSM manages an election campaign for the Left since he has had colleagues in positions to manipulate elections:

Liarbour has apparently clawed back the lead to 5.2% and this before Key "gaffes" over health policy and other things could influence the polls further.

It may be that the media has actually given Key and National an easy ride recently to make the upcoming election campaign more exciting and newsworthy, so the media can enjoy higher sales and ratings for their papers and news programmes.

I recall an early editor in Britain admitting to me that his strategy was to give the Tory opposition on the local council greater prominence at the start of the local election campaign, thus providing an answer to bias, before giving the Labour run council an easy ride at the end, when it mattered.

Maybe this is the undisclosed policy for the media here. If so, National's treatment by the media will only worsen. (More here)

Have you ever wondered if the MSM was playing head games over elections? This constant hammering leading up to an election, like the insistent drumming in the head on TV and in the newspapers. They could be accused of bias except that they throw in the token story which appears to take a different point of view. According to my source above, this is mastered and perfected manipulation at its finest. You are being taken for suckers.

So not only are your taxes enlarging the voting base of the Left but the journalists who are supposed to be bringing you a representative view of the world are manipulating you. All round, the most productive members of society and the governments who try to manage the economy effectively end up being hammered by the unscrupulous. So much for Democracy in its current manifestation.
