THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF KENNEDY

The gang at Chicago-based political blogger Hillbuzz.org is celebrating the fall of the House of Kennedy with the announcement by Joseph Kennedy III that he deigns not to run for Congress this year. (He's a D.A. in Cape Cod, a hotbed of gang violence, think Topsiders gone Wild.) Hillbuzz goes further calling for "no more Kennedys in elected office again ever." Among their complaints is the deterioration of the sex appeal of the Kennedy kin after generations of indiscriminant in-breeding. Indeed, the clan is beginning to look as if they just stepped out of a faded copy of John Boorman's "Deliverance." Hillbuzz calls for a national "Van Helsing-like anti-Kennedy task force" to keep the Kennedy beast from reconstituting.
