Minnesota man pleads guilty to threatening Obama

I wonder if this man is really guilty of the crime, or was he framed by the U.S. Secret Service and an ambitious U.S. Attorney sucking up to the Obama Regime for a judgeship? Time will tell. Also, why were the numerous death threats made against President Bush ignored by the SS including one made by a Democrat U.S. Senator? It would appear the SS leadership, like so many institutions in this country, is controlled by Leftists who use the law to settle political disagreements. --RONBO

A Minnesota man pleaded guilty to threatening to kill President Obama and his family.

The U.S. attorney's office in Minneapolis says 35-year-old Chane Phillip Christenson of St. Paul pleaded guilty Wednesday to one count of making a threat to take the life of the president.

Christenson was indicted in April. That indictment initially was filed under seal.

In his plea agreement, Christenson admitted that on Jan. 6 he sent an e-mail to the White House website stating that he intended to kill the president, First Lady Michelle Obama and their two children. Christenson also admitted that he previously sent a similar e-mail to the White House.

Christenson faces up to five years in prison when sentenced.
