32% Tea Party Win Ratio a Mainstream Media Lie

I notice the left wing blogosphere is going flat out with the 32% win rate of Tea Party candidates as quoted (of course) by their mainstream media friends. This is still a pretty good win rate for a fledgling political group, but as soon as I saw this figure, and understood it had been calculated by journalists at NBC and such I knew it would be a lie. And it is. This figure was arrived at by means of deliberately exaggerating the number of Tea Party candidates taking part and deliberately underestimating the number who won. Of course. When could the mainstream media, basically a bunch of Democrats pretending to be journalists, ever report anything true and factual about the Tea party?

NBC say this-

For all the talk of the Tea Party’s strength – and there will certainly be a significant number of their candidates in Congress – just 32% of all Tea Party candidates who ran for Congress won and 61.4% lost this election.

They also say this-

Identifying Tea Party candidates is undoubtedly inexact. Our criteria, generally, was to include anyone who has either been backed by a Tea Party group or has identified themselves as a member of the Tea Party movement.

Both statements are complete bullshit. Here are just a few of the Tea Party winners left out of NBC’s list.Kristi Noem, Scott Tipton, John Runyan, Dennis Ross, Mo Brooks, David Schweikert, Nan Hayworth, Alan Nunnelee, Steve Pearce, Scott Rigell, Lou Barletta, Daniel Webster, James Lankford, Chris Gibson, Chip Cravaak, Cory Gardner, Jeff Denham, Bill Huizenga, and Tim Huelskamp

They also left out longer term members of the Republican’s who ran as Tea Party supporters. Examples- Jim DeMint, Mike Pence and Steve King, who are also members of the Inaugural Tea Party Caucus formed in July this year, and included other winners- Pete Sessions, John Culberson, Louie Gohmert, Pete Hoekstra, Todd Tiahrt, Dan Burton, Paul Broun, and Cliff Stearns.

The 32% number is junk journalism. (watch the NZ media repeat it unquestioningly) Inaccurate and designed to serve a partisan political purpose. Keith Olbermann of MSNBC was fired yesterday for his naked partisanship. Small bikkies really. The whole of the mainstream media is contaminated by these foul cheating left wing scum. I fired every one of them from my life a long time ago.
