Prayers for Arnold

Just when I think that trolls cannot get anymore vile, I receive this comment from “Arnold” (I’m going by his email address). The dude actually took the time to register a valid email address, receive a confirmation, register for my site, and then pen this Opus. (This was actually his second masterpiece.)

First, let me say that I have worked with murderers and rapists. I have counseled women who injured their sons and men who molested their daughters. And yet they were more polite than the Extreme Progressives (EP) in our midst! Really, when a hardened criminal has more class than an Extreme Progressive (and the EP’s are in charge), you know why this country is going to hell in a hand basket.

First of all, IrishCicero, if you want to chew me out, please check your spelling beforehand. “Bint” is not a word, nor is “cunted.” Didn’t they teach you how to spell curse words in Special Ed?

Is this the best that Extreme Progressives can do? One doesn’t have to be a therapist to see some real casualties of the public school system, as well as the utter debasement of the human brain through violent movies and video games. A human brain is indeed a terrible thing to waste. And with brainpower like this, how are we supposed to compete with the young, agile minds of China and India?

Luckily for me, I have discovered a nifty setting on Word Press called, Blacklist. Once I register a troll as Blacklisted, I never receive one of their comments again. Arnold is now on that list so I will never hear from his again.

But there may be some hope for Arnold. Because on one level, he gets it right. He still has what we therapists call, “an observing ego.” He is indeed acting like an idiot, and a part of him knows it.

So Arnold, get it together, man. Your life is short and precious. Be the man you were meant to be. You know that you can do better than penning obscenities to total strangers.

Perhaps it is not a coincidence that you have crossed paths with a psychotherapist. Here is some free advice: get a job, any job; and take a class at a local school. If you need help with English or Math, they’ll get you through it.

Go to church and ask for help with the demons are plaguing you. There is no shame in reaching out — although it is shameful to live your life in such a state of degradation and hate.

in the meantime, Dear Readers, I’d suggest a silent prayer for the Arnolds of the world. God only knows the kind of parenting (or lack of) they received. People like this have seriously scrambled their brains — either through substance abuse, poor diet, being dropped on their heads, being beaten . . Who knows? Too much YouPorn can mess up a human brain all on its own.

Our enemy, of course, is not these pitiful people. We fight against “the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” These entities appear to be coming out of the woodwork the last three years.
