"Contrary to the purportedly peaceful nature of the flotilla setting out this week to break Israel's Gaza blockade, Israeli intelligence sources reported Monday, June 27, that some of the activists aboard the boats are extremists who are perfectly willing to forcibly resist efforts to intercept them and are ready to kill Israeli servicemen coming on board."
American activist Ann Wright is a former official of the U.S. State Department who will take part."We say to the people of Gaza, we are coming!" she said.
"Hundreds of people will be on board the flotilla, including journalists, politicians, writers and religious figures."
Israel Orders Military to Stop Gaza Aid Flotilla "The head of the Israeli government press office had said in a letter to journalists Sunday that the flotilla is being organized by Western and Islamic extremists, and that those taking part would be in violation of Israeli law."
