The following script is reprinted with the permission of the Showtime mini-series TRIUMVIATE

[SCENE: Oval Office of the President of The United States. The room is crowded with well dressed civilians and military officers. It is clear that a meeting is breaking up and the presidential audience is moving towards the exit, talking to one another very seriously with sober faces in low voices. The president speaks..]

President: General Conway and Director McKenna - I need to speak in private with you gentlemen.

[Conway and McKenna pass their briefcases to their respective aides, who are the last to disappear out to the hallway. The door is closed by an SS agent. The three men are alone.]

President: I want you to know this meeting is not recorded. Please feel free to speak your minds.

McKenna: [He is a handsome 50 something man with silver grey hair with intense blue eyes, trim white beard and very fit in appearance. McKenna wears an expensive dark blue suit with a white shirt and red tie.]

I assume this conference concerns the recent events in Boston and the presidential address to the nation in a few hours...

President: [Dressed in a black suit with black and white shirt. He is white youngish man in his early 40s with dark short black hair cut very short. The president's eyes are dark brown and send a message of power, intelligence and action to the world.

The president steps out from behind his desk and pulls together three chairs in a circle. This indicates he sees the other two men as his equals in power. He motions by hand signals they are to join him in the ring of power. McKenna immediately takes a seat, unbuttons his suit coat and assumes a relaxed pose, as if the implied power just granted by the most powerful man in the world is his due. Conway way remains standing, but finally sits down in the indicted seat after a second hand signal from the president. The Five Star General of Armies perches on the edge of the chair at attention in he pose of soldier obeying an order he doesn't like from a superior officer. The body language of Conway is that he would rather be anywhere except in this room.]

President: General Conway, you may relax.

Conway: I am.

McKenna: This is relaxed for General Conway in the company of his superior officer, Mr. President. He means to sent a message that he is the servant to the authority of the presidency.

[Conway turns an ugly Greco-Roman poker face with scars to look at McKenna with the same lack of passion an American eagle who look down at its prey.]

McKenna: I read your book, general - “A Soldier Reports” - the chapter on “The Supremacy of The Presidency” was quite interesting and informative.

Conway: [A little angry] I support my president and his policies. To do otherwise would lead the nation down the path taken by Chile in 1973. But perhaps your agents in the Pentagon tell you a different story?

McKenna: I have no agents in the Pentagon. However, I do believe I discovered one of your Military Intelligence officers working uncover at SS HQ here in Washington, D.C. just a few days ago. I sent him back to the Pentagon with a note.

Conway: I don't know what you're talking about! Gentlemen do spy on other gentlemen...

President: Please! What's next between you two? A challenge to a duel? I did not call us together so that the two most senior officers in my government could act like two high school boys trading insults leading up to a fist fight.

Conway: I would like to apologize for my remarks, Director McKenna.

McKenna: No apology was needed, general. I've followed your career for years. Please consider me the first in line of your admirers - you are a military genius. I considered your remarks to be nothing more than an honest exchange of views. I will say this: neither one of us are aware of what our subordinates are up to at all times – I have a very zealous Deputy, Agent Smith, who sometimes goes a bridge too far, I will talk to him.

Conway: Likewise I will have chat with Sullivan, Commanding General of my Intelligence and Security Command...I knew nothing before this meeting concerning Pentagon agents working inside the Secret Service.

President: There! Problem solved! Let's move on...General, are your forces ready to invade Pakistan?

Conway: My special ops teams are posed inside Pakistan to take out the nuclear weapons. I only need the “go” from you.

President: Granted! What about the main ground, sea and air attack?

Conway: The plan is to attack from three directions in less than a month: The main land invasion for NATO will come out of the Khyber Pass from Afghanistan by strong armored forces with the First Armored Division as the tip of the spear. They are equipped with the recently upgraded M-1 main battle tank that's more than a match for anything the Paks than throw against it.

The second assault will come from India, which has recently joined NATO. We expect our Indian allies will face the most active defense from the Paks, because the flower of the Pakistani military was been long deployed against their traditional enemy – India.

The third assault will be launched by elements of the Marine Corps Persian Gulf Task Force, who will seize Pakistan's outlets on the Indian Ocean and the major city of Karachi...All these land campaigns supported by considerable NATO air and naval forces.

President: I see...an encirclement...How long can the Pakistani main resistance last?

Conway: Less than a month...Pakistan is a dirt poor third world country with a second class military establishment that couldn't stand up against India without considerable outside help....The problem is not getting into the country and seizing control of the machinery of government – it is dealing with the inevitable insurrection that happens in all occupied Islamic countries.

President: How would you stop this revolt?

Conway: By doing what worked in the occupation of defeated Germany, Italy and Japan after World War II – the iron fist! I would need military governors and an army of occupation for years in Pakistan, maybe decades...I wouldn't need civilians in the government and the Media looking over by shoulder...

President: This will be The Third World War in which the America will use the same methods that led to victory in the Second World War.

Conway: This is the reality of post 9/11...whether we in the West want to admit it or not, but really it's just one more chapter in the bloody war begun by Islam against the world in the seventh century A.D. This conflict can only be won by the conquest of the Islamic world.

McKenna: [to the president] I agree with the general. I cannot secure the Homeland until the radical Mosques -which is just about all of then – are shutdown. Otherwise the Jihadists will have a base to convert recruits like the missing Harold Washington. To my mind it makes no sense to kill Islamists in Pakistan while allowing them free run of this country doing assassinations and bombings at will. In order to rid a home of rats, those inside and outside of it must killed.

President: The three of us are on the same page and in complete agreement on this issue.

Conway: I need a declaration of war.

President: Early next week you will have it – Congress will declare war on Islamic terrorism.

Conway: If I have the full backing of the nation, America can win World War III.

McKenna: Mr. President, I will need your authorization to begin mass arrests and deportation of American Muslims.

President: We have to arrest ALL Muslims in the USA? There are six or seven million of them.

McKenna: ...who all believe in the 164 Jihad verses in the KORAN called the Muslims to make war on non-Muslims. Yes, any Muslim man, woman or child represents a danger threat to the security of the Homeland.

President: Where would you put that many people?

McKenna: I have numerous FEMA camps available all over the country with ample bed space for six million Muslims, if there are really that many in the USA.

President: How would you arrest and transport massive numbers of Muslims to the camps?

McKenna: I have staffed that problem, and I'm told the FEMA emergency relocation plans for natural disasters will work well...with a few modifications...

Conway: I can't spare any troops for a domestic mission – I will need all my resources to include the National Guard and the Reserves for overseas.

McKenna: My SS can accomplish the mission with our own resources. We have trained and planned for an event like this one.

President: What about public reaction?

McKenna: There will be little. I do not plan to allow the Media access to the round up.

President: Good point – When Congress declares war tomorrow, I will impose censorship. I recall that during WW II nothing was said about the imprisonment of the Japanese, German and Italian civilians arrested by the government.

Conway: What about the Internet? The bloggers will be on this story.

McKenna: The president has the “Internet Kill Switch”

President: Naturally the Internet needs to be censored...But how?

McKenna: My SS has the software ready to roll. This was provided by our friends in the Chinese government. Of course, we need the 'Net for essential commerical and governmental functions, but not for message board chat, blogs and news websites.

Conway: You can do that next week, McKenna? As a military man I'm quite impressed with your preparations for this event.

[Conway looks intently at McKenna with his expressionless face as if to discover something about the man.]

McKenna: Thank you...Like the Pentagon, Homeland Security under my Secret Service has plans and training for the management of just about any crisis.

Conway: Still and all...[the general stops in mid sentence]

President: Speak freely, General Conway, you are with supporters.

Conway: ...something foolish came into my mind, “Invasion From Mars” - it was a comedy sci-fi movie about the Invasion of the USA by ruthless - but funny – Aliens.

[The trio laugh. It was a great tension breaker.]

President: The best scene for me was when the actor-president gets vaporized by the Aliens when he attempts peace talks.

[The men laugh some more]

McKenna: I think that scene was allegory for Obama's attempt to have peace talks with the Islamists.

Conway: Speaking of former President Obama – what happened to him and his immediate family? One hears nothing in the Media.

McKenna: At his own request, the former president and his family are in the custody of the Secret Service at a classified location. The family is happy and their privacy is well protected.

Conway: Where? I would like to say hello to the former president.

[Again the intense "eagle look" at McKenna]

President: On my instructions, McKenna will tell you no more.

Conway: I see...

McKenna: The former president is a very private man...

Conway: I'll say. No one is really sure where he came from before he became president, or where he went to after leaving office in disgrace.

President: Except for the “Silent Service” and myself...

Conway: Thank you gentlemen for clearing up the mystery. I am satisfied that President Obama is in a better place.

[The obvious sarcasm is missed by McKenna]

President: Let's wrap up this meeting. In two hours I will brief the public on the Boston killings and the tie to Islamists in Pakistan. I will contend that the Pakstani government willingly and knowingly gave aid to these terrorists, as in the past they did to Osama Bin Laden. I will announce these actions by Pakistan are tantamount to a declaration of war against USA and her NATO allies. Thus in my role of CIC, I will acknowledge that the U.S. Military has just launched air strikes and special forces attacks on my orders against Pakistan in defense of the Homeland. I will end with telling of my intention to ask Congress on Monday for a declaration of war against Global Islamic Terrorism.

[McKenna and Conway rise to their feet. The two soldiers have their marching orders. The Rubicon has been crossed. They both approach the president and shake hands with him. The scene fades out with classical music]

EXCLUSIVE: Mitt Romney to Receive Secret Service Protection

TAMPA – Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign has been informed that it will start receiving Secret Service protection this week, two campaign sources and a senior Republican tell ABC News.

Secret Service protection is being given to the campaign not because of a specific threat but because of the increase in crowd sizes as the primary season has progressed over the past few weeks, according to the sources, who refused to be identified because they don’t have authority to comment on such matters publicly.

According to a federal law enforcement officials Romney’s campaign, which has long traveled with private security of its own, did request Secret Service protection. However sources tell ABC that the campaign did not make the request, but was approached about the additional security steps in the weeks following the New Hampshire primary.

The Secret Service is charged with protecting presidential candidates in addition to the president himself, and providing protection to a candidate before he secures a nomination has become fairly common. Such decisions are made by the Department of Homeland Security, in consultation with congressional leadership.

Officials with the campaign and the Secret Service declined to comment on the decision.

Romney will become the only current Republican candidate with Secret Service protection. Herman Cain became the first candidate to receive Service protection, in November, but he ended his candidacy in December.

President Obama's Civilian Soldiers

Everybody is outraged and disgusted by our divisive politics, from Jewish bubbies in Florida to AT's own Rick Moran. The rest of us just think that President Obama is incompetent. "Obama doesn't have the experience, character, or personality to be president. To put it flatly: he's in over his head." That's Barry Rubin.

And if he's not incompetent he is polarizing, writes Peter Wehner. And that from the candidate whose "core claim"

wasn't simply that he would heal the planet; he would also heal the nation's political breach. He would elevate the national debate. Reason would prevail over emotion... Obama would "turn the page" on the "old politics" of division and anger.

Sorry to disagree, but I am not disgusted. I don't believe that the president is incompetent. And I don't believe he has reneged on his promise of bringing us together. To me, everything about President Obama makes sense.

First of all, the division. Our national politics is in a space very like the 1850s just before the showdown over slavery. You remember the history. For 60 years, ever since the ratification of the Constitution, the South had refused to discuss slavery, and would stage a tantrum if anyone raised the subject. Eventually the North got fed up and organized an explicitly anti-slavery party. It was called the Republican Party.

But why was the South so intransigent when "everybody knew" that slavery was immoral? The simple answer is that business was too good. Slavery was profitable, very profitable for the South.

The same thing applies to today's America. "Everybody knows" that the welfare state is finished, but the peculiar institution is profitable, very profitable -- for liberals. Look at usgovernmentspending.com. Liberals get to spend $4 trillion a year on their favorite programs. Conservatives get $1 trillion a year for defense. Why would liberals give up on a deal like that without a fight?

Nor is the president incompetent. He is doing exactly what his liberal base wants him to do. He is doing Keynesian stimulus, taking care that most of it goes to Democrats. He is doing clean energy, regulating the environment, canceling pipelines, carrying water for unions, cutting defense. He has held off Republicans that want to cut and slash spending. He is a liberal dream.

Polarizing? Look, if you are a liberal, the problem is Republicans. We would have sweetness and light if only those bigoted, mean-spirited, racist Republicans weren't opposing the president at every turn. What this nation, this anti-intellectual nation, needs is a national conversation on civility, led by its educated class.

In this 1850s rerun, the Republican Party is reinventing itself as the anti-liberal party. That means division, because liberals are the ruling class that has run America as a very profitable plantation for the last 70 years, and they are not going without a fight. What's ahead for America, in consequence, is a classic Clausewitzean "decisive battle."

President Obama's State of the Union speech last week was about battlefield preparation. He is taking his party back to the old Progressive totem of the "moral equivalent of war." Jonah Goldberg: "Ever since William James coined the phrase 'the moral equivalent of war,' liberalism has been obsessed with finding ways to mobilize civilian life with the efficiency and conformity of military life." George Will chimes in as well: "Onward civilian soldiers, marching as to war."

Likewise the president's fairness argument. "Fairness" is how liberals talk to the American people. To each other, they talk about "inequality." There is another word they like: "exploitation." They use that one on the masses. But the words all mean the same thing. Liberals don't like the economic results of 200 years of capitalism in which the daily income went from $3 per head per day to over $100 per day, and they don't like the results of the 20th century which began with the rich fatter than the poor and ended with the poor fatter than the rich. Invisible hand? It's a myth, say liberals. What we have here is exploitation:

In one word, for exploitation, veiled by religious and political illusions, [capitalism] has substituted naked, shameless, direct, brutal exploitation.

There's a harsh logic to this. Ever since Karl Marx, liberals have rebelled against the fat, sloppy way of voluntary cooperation that leaves no room for political power and civilian soldiers. So voluntary cooperation must go. Forget about humans as social animals. Think soldier ants.

The great achievement of President Obama is to present his vision so clearly: America as a progressive ant-hill.

Here's an alternative vision. How about America as a city on a hill, a beacon, a magnet for all those who must have freedom?

[Transcript excerpt from the interrogation of Henry McKenna by Major Lars Olsen of the U.S. Army Military Intelligence at Ft. Meade, Maryland recently released under the Freedom of Information to Fox News.]

Olsen: You look good this morning, McKenna.

McKenna: I am sleeping well and waking up refreshed – they say confession is good for soul and I can confirm that it also helps one rest peacefully at night.

Olsen: As the former deputy Director of the Secret Service under your father John McKenna, what was your take on the “New Boston Massacre?”

McKenna: It came as a complete surprise to the SS, a bolt of lightening out of a clear blue sky. It was a game changer.

Olsen: The killing of those 25 Communists at The Prudential Building in Boston wasn't discovered until Sunday morning...

McKenna: ...which meant the trail was cold...with that much of a head start the assassins could be anywhere in the world.

Olsen: When were you informed?

McKenna: About 9 a.m. by our Boston SS headquarters.

Olsen: I take it you were shortly in Boston?

McKenna: Yes, within a few hours I was in Boston and took charge of the investigation.

Olsen: And didn't find much in the way of evidence?

McKenna: Only three important clues – a red rose, dry blood boot prints on the carpet and a missing man by the name of Harold Washington, the CEO of Blackwing Security, who had control of all security functions at The Prudential Building.

Olsen: Mr. Washington destroyed the computer systems that contained data from the cameras and so forth after the killing...

McKenna: He planted thermite destruction devices in the control room; everything in there was completely destroyed.

Olsen: What about the crime scene? No clues?

McKenna: Aside from the red rose...nothing to indicate who the shooters were.

Olsen: Anything on the bodies of the dead Communists?

McKenna: The usual personal items: wallets, cellphones and the like. Apparently, no money or credit cards were stolen....robbery as a motive was ruled out early on...

Olsen: There were guns on the bodies?

McKenna: Several were discovered on various bodies.

Olsen: What about Smithson's missing gun?

McKenna: We didn't connect the dots until much later on that...

Olsen: Also, you missed the slight damage on the wall where Fanny Kaplan hit it after being shot by Smithson.

McKenna: The conference room was heavily damaged in the massacre, so this wasn't discovered until later.

Oslen: I would imagine the crime scene was pretty awful...

McKenna: Sickening beyond words...I had no idea human bodies could leak so much blood. Also, this was more than 24 hours after the killing...The smell was so bad we were force to wear oxygen masks. In fact, everyone there went into protective suits..

Olsen: The smell of death is something one never forgets.

Mc Kenna: I don't know how the CSI people stood it for hours...I was only there for a few minutes...and the smell of death was overpowering...even inside the bio-hazard suits that were suppose to seal the environment out.

Olsen: What else did you learn at the crime scene.

McKenna: The bloody boots of the shooters left impressions on the carpet, so we could determine that one male and two females did the deed.

Olsen: Spent ammo casings?

McKenna: Yes, three different types for the rifles: 7.93 X 33mm, 7.62 X 39mm, and 5.56 X45mm.

Olsen: What weapons would fire such ammunition?

McKenna: The experts think the weapons were a MP44 WWII German Sturmgewehr, AK 47 and an M-16 assault rifle.

Olsen: A pistol was used as well?

McKenna: A 45 caliber automatic pistol was used to deliver the coup de grace on each individual in the conference room. The shooter, a male judging from the bloody footprints, took his time and moved bodies around to do the head shots. He used hollow point ammunition that made the massacre scene even more bloody.

Olsen: It seems you describing a professional hit.

McKenna: The massacre was clearly well planned and executed with military precision. My first thought was that a Special Forces team was responsible. An investigation proved that all special ops teams were occupied else where – mostly in Southwest Asia.

Olsen: Special op teams do not have women.

McKenna: Nevertheless, I checked anyway and all our teams were accounted for...

Olsen: The only firm lead you had was Harold Washington...

McKenna: Who had disappeared...

Olsen: In a well planned and executed disappearance.

McKenna: We spent many days going over everything he left behind and came up with a dry hole.

Olsen: Would it be fair to say this cold trail encouraged your father and the president to put the blame on the Islamists?

McKenna: I think the Chief of the SS, my father, really didn't need that much encouragement to point the finger at the Muslims. For one thing he needed a quick solution to the Boston killings that looked many days, weeks or months in the future to be solved. And radical Muslims would be quite believable to the public as the assassins. I think the president was motivated by the same concerns. They both feared public opinion turning against them.

Olsen: I remember when I heard the president that Sunday night, I had no problem believing the Islamists had committed the crime.

McKenna: The post 9/11 American mindset...If there is mass murder anywhere in the USA, the first image in everyone's mind is the Muslim terrorist...

Olsen: The Pakistan based Al Qaeda in Peshawar took responsibility that Sunday night after the president gave his speech to the nation.

McKenna: This gave Conway and the Pentagon the green light to invade Pakistan, along with our NATO allies and India. Pakistan made too many enemies just looking for the chance for paybacks at the first opportunity. The Paks were crushed in less than three weeks, and became the first subjects to an authoritarian military occupation since WW II.

Olsen: The Pakistani nukes neutralized that Sunday by Special Forces, as we later discovered.

McKenna: The small American military establishment under Conway had become lean, mean, highly professional and intensely loyal to its commanding general.

Olsen: As a member of the military, I thank you for the kind remark. What was your late father's opinion of the U.S. Armed Forces?

McKenna: Very high.

Olsen: General Conway?

McKenna: Conway was the only member of the regime he trusted...I think he may have admired Conway...If a psychopath could accomplish such a feat.

Olsen: Would it be fair to say with Smithson and the Communists neutralized, the government of the United States became a three person oligarchy of under your father, the president and the general?

McKenna: Triumvirate, I think you mean.

Olsen: Okay, “Triumvirate.”

McKenna: I remember thinking the New Boston Massacre by Mr. Washington's cabal had moved father and I closer to our goal.

Olsen: The SS investigators were called off?

McKenna: not all of them, but the investigation was put on the back burner – In Washington, D.C. that winter we had a full plate of more immediate concerns.

Olsen: It didn't worry you that a new insurrection named “The Red Rose” was forming in the country; that if the assassins were not arrested soon, they would strike again; that other like minded radicals would be encouraged?

McKenna: Truth to tell, father and I had no such concerns at that time. In retrospect, I see we should have been very concerned...and the president even more so.

Mr. Idema went through and graduated from the Q-Course in 1975. He was an "SF Baby" (came off the street to an SF assignment) and assigned to 10th SF Group at Fort Devens, MA. His first team noticed right off the bat he was a sociopath and not SF material; unfortunately back in the day it was the Team's responsibility, not the School, to weed out the undesirables. I believe he was a commo MOS (05B1S).

His first team sent him away to schools to keep him away from the unit; that's how bad he was. This was the post-Vietnam era and getting people kicked out took a LOT of effort. IIRC, he went through two teams and was told he could leave Army at the end of his first enlistment or face NJP. As it was, he RE Code (re-enlistment) read "not eligible for re-enlistment".

Somehow, his RE code was 'changed' a couple years later when he applied for an Army Reserve slot as a parachute rigger somewhere in New England. Suddenly he was eligible to go back in the Army either as AD or Reserve. The Reserve unit saw through his BS after a year or two and kicked him out. He never, ever, served another day in the military or in the local, state or federal governments; after ~1982.

That's when he got into business for himself doing all kinds of work. Firearms training, kennels, tactical gear, paintball gear, SOF expos, etc. He'd do anything that: Made him the 'hero', made money and made him the center of attention.

30 years later, he's dead. According to some reports, he actually believed the crap he made up.

The number of lives he personally destroyed with his frivoulous civil lawsuits is unbelievable. Idema is actually a textbook study in "serial litigation". From 1994 to 2010 he filed over 80+ civil lawsuits. He used the lawsuits as a means of financing his imaginary lifestyle. "Sue High, Settle Low". He did that against anybody who ever said a cross word to him or about him.

Because Idema was one of our own (SF); the SF community watched his antics and the embarassing links he made to the rest of us. Nothing we could do about it except make sure it doesn't happen again.

The good news is that because of Idema's and other's actions, it's a LOT easier for us to cross-check other people who make questionable claims; like John Giduck. In a sense, the legacy Idema leaves behind is a community (SOF, LEO and others) that freely talks to each other to confirm/deny poser's claims.

Cannibals in GOP Establishment Employ Tactics of the Left

We have witnessed something very disturbing this week. The Republican establishment which fought Ronald Reagan in the 1970s and which continues to fight the grassroots Tea Party movement today has adopted the tactics of the left in using the media and the politics of personal destruction to attack an opponent.

We will look back on this week and realize that something changed. I have given numerous interviews wherein I espoused the benefits of thorough vetting during aggressive contested primary elections, but this week’s tactics aren’t what I meant. Those who claim allegiance to Ronald Reagan’s 11th Commandment should stop and think about where we are today. Ronald Reagan and Barry Goldwater, the fathers of the modern conservative movement, would be ashamed of us in this primary. Let me make clear that I have no problem with the routine rough and tumble of a heated campaign. As I said at the first Tea Party convention two years ago, I am in favor of contested primaries and healthy, pointed debate. They help focus candidates and the electorate. I have fought in tough and heated contested primaries myself. But what we have seen in Florida this week is beyond the pale. It was unprecedented in GOP primaries. I’ve seen it before – heck, I lived it before – but not in a GOP primary race.

I am sadly too familiar with these tactics because they were used against the GOP ticket in 2008. The left seeks to single someone out and destroy his or her record and reputation and family using the media as a channel to dump handpicked and half-baked campaign opposition research on the public. The difference in 2008 was that I was largely unknown to the American public, so they had no way of differentiating between the lies and the truth. All of it came at them at once as “facts” about me. But Newt Gingrich is known to us – both the good and the bad.

We know that Newt fought in the trenches during the Reagan Revolution. As Rush Limbaugh pointed out, Newt was among a handful of Republican Congressman who would regularly take to the House floor to defend Reagan at a time when conservatives didn’t have Fox News or talk radio or conservative blogs to give any balance to the liberal mainstream media. Newt actually came at Reagan’s administration “from the right” to remind Americans that freer markets and tougher national defense would win our future. But this week a few handpicked and selectively edited comments which Newt made during his 40-year career were used to claim that Newt was somehow anti-Reagan and isn’t conservative enough to go against the accepted moderate in the primary race. (I know, it makes no sense, and the GOP establishment hopes you won’t stop and think about this nonsense. Mark Levin and others have shown the ridiculousness of this.) To add insult to injury, this “anti-Reagan” claim was made by a candidate who admitted to not even supporting or voting for Reagan. He actually was against the Reagan movement, donated to liberal candidates, and said he didn’t want to go back to the Reagan days. You can’t change history. We know that Newt Gingrich brought the Reagan Revolution into the 1990s. We know it because none other than Nancy Reagan herself announced this when she presented Newt with an award, telling us, “The dramatic movement of 1995 is an outgrowth of a much earlier crusade that goes back half a century. Barry Goldwater handed the torch to Ronnie, and in turn Ronnie turned that torch over to Newt and the Republican members of Congress to keep that dream alive.” As Rush and others pointed out, if Nancy Reagan had ever thought that Newt was in any way an opponent of her beloved husband, she would never have even appeared on a stage with him, let alone presented him with an award and said such kind things about him. Nor would Reagan’s son, Michael Reagan, have chosen to endorse Newt in this primary race. There are no two greater keepers of the Reagan legacy than Nancy and Michael Reagan. What we saw with this ridiculous opposition dump on Newt was nothing short of Stalin-esque rewriting of history. It was Alinsky tactics at their worst.

But this whole thing isn’t really about Newt Gingrich vs. Mitt Romney. It is about the GOP establishment vs. the Tea Party grassroots and independent Americans who are sick of the politics of personal destruction used now by both parties’ operatives with a complicit media egging it on. In fact, the establishment has been just as dismissive of Ron Paul and Rick Santorum. Newt is an imperfect vessel for Tea Party support, but in South Carolina the Tea Party chose to get behind him instead of the old guard’s choice. In response, the GOP establishment voices denounced South Carolinian voters with the same vitriol we usually see from the left when they spew hatred at everyday Americans “bitterly clinging” to their faith and their Second Amendment rights. The Tea Party was once again told to sit down and shut up and listen to the “wisdom” of their betters. We were reminded of the litany of Tea Party endorsed candidates in 2010 who didn’t win. Well, here’s a little newsflash to the establishment: without the Tea Party there would have been no historic 2010 victory at all.

I spoke up before the South Carolina primary to urge voters there to keep this primary going because I have great concern about the GOP establishment trying to anoint a candidate without the blessing of the grassroots and all the needed energy and resources we as commonsense constitutional conservatives could bring to the general election in order to defeat President Obama. Now, I respect Governor Romney and his success. But there are serious concerns about his record and whether as a politician he consistently applied conservative principles and how this impacts the agenda moving forward. The questions need answers now. That is why this primary should not be rushed to an end. We need to vet this. Pundits in the Beltway are gleefully proclaiming that this primary race is over after Florida, despite 46 states still not having chimed in. Well, perhaps it’s possible that it will come to a speedy end in just four days; but with these questions left unanswered, it will not have come to a satisfactory conclusion. Without this necessary vetting process, the unanswered question of Governor Romney’s conservative bona fides and the unanswered and false attacks on Newt Gingrich will hang in the air to demoralize many in the electorate. The Tea Party grassroots will certainly feel disenfranchised and disenchanted with the perceived orchestrated outcome from self-proclaimed movers and shakers trying to sew this all up. And, trust me, during the general election, Governor Romney’s statements and record in the private sector will be relentlessly parsed over by the opposition in excruciating detail to frighten off swing voters. This is why we need a fair primary that is not prematurely cut short by the GOP establishment using Alinsky tactics to kneecap Governor Romney’s chief rival.

As I said in my speech in Iowa last September, the challenge of this election is not simply to replace President Obama. The real challenge is who and what we will replace him with. It’s not enough to just change up the uniform. If we don’t change the team and the game plan, we won’t save our country. We truly need sudden and relentless reform in Washington to defend our republic, though it’s becoming clearer that the old guard wants anything but that. That is why we should all be concerned by the tactics employed by the establishment this week. We will not save our country by becoming like the left. And I question whether the GOP establishment would ever employ the same harsh tactics they used on Newt against Obama. I didn’t see it in 2008. Many of these same characters sat on their thumbs in ‘08 and let Obama escape unvetted. Oddly, they’re now using every available microscope and endoscope – along with rewriting history – in attempts to character assassinate anyone challenging their chosen one in their own party’s primary. So, one must ask, who are they really running against?

IDEMA VICTIM PENNY ALESI IN HOSPITAL

This morning the bio-hazard that is the body of American traitor and international war criminal “Jack” Idema is either in the guts of various wild animals in Mexico, or has been seized by the U.S. Embassy in Mexico to await claim by friends or family.

If the latter report is true, the wait may be very long indeed.

The immediate Idema family is dead, and there are no friends

Idema leaves in his wake only victims and enemies.

The most tragic of these victims and enemies, in this writer's humble opinion, is Idema's former wife, Penny Alesi. An average middle class woman whose only “crime” has to fall in love with a man she later discovered to be pure evil. When Ms. Alesi was “mugged by reality” in Bacalar, Mexico, and discovered horrible truth that her lover was a raving psychopath and secret homosexual, it was too late to save her life.

She had been knowingly HIV infected by Idema.

A lesser woman who had escaped certain death at the hands of a very evil and dangerous man would have given up the struggle upon safe arrival at home. But not Penny Alesi – she had just begun to fight – and did all in her power to secure the arrest of Idema by Mexican or American authorities. At the same time she spent endless hours in vain attempts to interest the Big Media in the USA in doing stories on the HIV danger posed to the international public by an evil man, the owner and operator of a Mexican resort.

There are many lessons that can be learned from the criminal career of self appointed “Super Patriot” Idema, but the most important one is the failure of the U.S. Government to have “terminated with extreme prejudice” Idema in early 2004, when it became apparent to nearly everyone that he had turned traitor in Afghanistan. Instead, the power barons of the Feds turned him over to arguably the most corrupt government in Asia.

The predictable result of this confinement in a luxury suite in Afghanistan's most infamous prison complete with computer and satellite phone that were used to advance a criminal career. It was here that Idema converted to Islam and supplied America's enemies with videos, pictures and documents that were used to kill American troops in Southwest Asia. This download also included Idema produced videos showing him torture Afghans in his private prison. These videos have gone viral on the Internet and are a great propaganda coup for America's Islamist enemies.

The final stop for Idema was Bacalar, Mexico in 2007.

The short version of this final chapter: the Mexican and American governments did absolutely nothing while Idema's criminal career went into hyper drive. In this writer's humble opinion had Idema not become infected with HIV in 2007 during his early days in Mexico (In addition to a heavy habit) he would have become a major problem for the United States, as he swore revenge on this nation for “betraying” him in Afghanistan! When this writer became aware of the threat posed to national security by Idema, he personally briefed a federal agent working for Homeland Security in early 2011. A week later, this writer was told by the same agent , “The American government can do nothing to Idema while he stays in Mexico.” When he told the agent that Idema was illegally a Mexican resident, the agent replied, “This is a matter for the Mexican government.”

Yes, Idema is dead and the world should rejoice!

Expediente IDEMA: ¿Se regó el SIDA en Bacalar?

Este fin de semana murió el ex boina verde norteamericano Jonathan Keith Idema quien vivía en el sur de la entidad. Su deceso da paso a una leyenda urbana creciente: “El Rambo de Bacalar”. Lo malo es que este episodio puede no haber concluido aún, pues apenas en Noviembre pasado, su ex esposa, Penny Alesi, advirtió a los Derechos Humanos que este sujeto estaba regando el SIDA en el novel municipio. Expediente Quintana Roo presenta el Expediente IDEMA, que incluye el certificado de VIH del mercenario, fotos de su identidad, un arma, un oficio que pone en entredicho a un funcionario de la CEDHEQR y una imagen de una de las victimas de Idema, quien lucha contra el mortal virus.

La ex esposa de Jonathan Keith Idema, el ex boina verde norteamericano que murió este fin de semana en Bacalar, advirtió a mediados del 2011 a la Comisión de los Derechos Humanos de Quintana Roo, que el sujeto estaba regando el SIDA en Bacalar.

Pero no sólo los puso en alerta, sino que además les entregó el certificado médico de Idema, que no deja lugar a dudas de que el ex militar sí tenía SIDA, porque habrá que decirlo, hasta el momento de su muerte, se ha especulado sobre este particular, pues a falta de un documento médico ante la opinión pública, el Virus de Inmunodeficiencia Adquirida en el cuerpo del norteamericano era una sospecha.

Expediente Quintana Roo tuvo acceso al expediente que muestra los documentos y fotografías que recibió la Comisión Estatal de los Derechos Humanos para intervenir, ante la falta de resultados de la Procuraduría de Justicia del Estado, en este caso que al parecer va más allá de la historia de una esposa golpeada, pues a decir de la propia victima, Idema anduvo regando el SIDA en Bacalar.

LA DENUNCIA PENAL CONTRA IDEMA

Originalmente, Penny Alesi, la ex esposa de Idema, lo denunció penalmente ante la Procuraduría General de Justicia del Estado en Agosto de 2010, por los delitos de violencia intrafamiliar, violación, privación ilegal de la libertad personal y peligro para la salud de las personas, esto último, en referencia a que el ex boina verde era portador del SIDA.

No obstante, la Procuraduría no actuó sobre el sujeto, pese a que éste se negó asistir en dos ocasiones a igual número de citatorios que le giró la Institución.

Inexplicablemente, el sujeto no fue presentado, si quiera molestado, pese a que a que su negativa de presentarse de manera voluntaria facultaba al Ministerio Público a liberar al menos una orden de presentación para avanzar en las diligencias.

Por esta falta de acción de la Procuraduría y porque Penny Alesi temía por su vida, levantó una denuncia ante la Comisión de los Derechos Humanos de Quintana Roo, para inconformase en contra de la PGJE y lo que resultase, por ignorar su denuncia contra Idema y porque además, tenía conocimiento de que el norteamericano estaba regando el SIDA en Bacalar.

Derivado de esta denuncia, la CDHEQROO generó la apertura del Expediente VG/OPB/147/06/2011.

LA CDHEQROO SE LAVA LAS MANOS

El 6 de Julio 2011, el primer visitador general de la Comisión de los Derechos Humanos del Estado de Quintana Roo, José Carlos Cortés Mugártegui, envió a Penny Alesi el Oficio Número VG-I-726/2011, en respuesta a su denuncia.

El oficio tiene dos resolutivos, ambos insatisfactorios para la victima.

El primer resolutivo ofrece a la agraviada declarar sobre el caso y aportar pruebas sobre sus dichos. Mientras el segundo, simplemente ordena agregar el oficio al Expediente.

Aquí el texto del oficio en cuestión:

En atención al acuerdo emitido en esta misma fecha, por un suscrito, el que señala lo siguiente: ''En la ciudad de Chetumal, Quintana Roo; a seis de julio de dos mil once. VISTO: EI oficio número PGJEjSZSjDGAp/1572j2011 suscrito por el Director General de Averiguaciones Previas de la Procuraduría General de Justicia del Estado, mediante el cual remite un informe y copia de la averiguación número APjZSjCHEjOljSDj2410/7-2010 iniciada en contra de Jonathan Keith Idema, anexo a dicho oficio, obra el informe del agente ministerial que integra dicha indagatoria, en la cual señaló con fecha diecisiete de junio de dos mil once, se citó por segunda vez al presunto responsable, y que era menester desahogar dicha declaración, así como las declaraciones de dos testigos de los hechos. En razón de lo anterior y toda vez que dicho informe satisface con lo solicitado y ha remitido la documentación que lo apoye, además de la imperiosa necesidad de continuar con la integración de la queja, para estar en aptitud de emitir la determinación que conforme a derecho proceda. De ello, se advierte que la quejosa Penny Alesi denunció ante este Organismo haber sido victima de varios delitos imputados a Jonathan Keith Idema, mismo que fueron denunciados en la averiguación previa ya señalada, así como referir que no puede regresar a México para seguir los cargos pero quiere que lo detengan, además de remitir copia de su denuncia ante el agente ministerial,' de ello, se solicitó el informe respectivo, en el que se dio contestación del trámite que sí le ha dado a la dicha Averiguación Previa, en la cual como últimas diligencias se ha citado por segunda vez al presunto responsable y se indicó la necesidad de contar con dos testigos de los hechos, con lo cual, consideraron se podía integrar debidamente dicha indagatoria. Por ello, con fundamento en los artículos 49 fracciones IV y 51 y 63 de la Ley de la Comisión de Derechos Humanos del Estado de Quintana Roo, 18 y 21 inciso d) párrafo cuarto del Reglamento de la Ley de la Comisión de Derechos Humanos del Estado de Quintana Roo, por ello, se ACUERDA: Primero: Désele vista a la parte quejosa por el término de tres días contados a partir del siguiente al de la notificación del presente acuerdo para efecto de que manifieste lo que a su derecho corresponda, así como también dentro del mismo plazo aporte pruebas que controviertan el informe de la autoridad responsable, una vez transcurrido este, con informe o sin él, dese nueva cuenta para proveer lo conducente. Segundo. Agréguese dicho oficio al presente expediente de queja para que obre en él, como legalmente corresponde. Así lo acordó y firma el licenciado José Carlos Cortés Mugártegui, Primer Visitador General de la Comisión de Derechos Humanos del Estado de Quintana Roo.

REVELADORA RESPUESTA DE PENNY ALESI; PRUEBA DOCUMENTAL

La ex esposa de Jonathan Keith Idema respondió éste oficio desde los Estados Unidos a través de un coreo electrónico, enviado el 9 de Noviembre 2011, a José Carlos Cortés Mugártegui, el visitador general de Derechos Humanos en Quintana Roo.

En este mail, Penny Alesi expresa su decepción y molestia por la falta de acción de la CDHEQR, pero sobre todo, aporta datos y pruebas documentales sobre sus dichos.

Explica que por su condición de salud, pues tiene SIDA, no puede venir a México para las diligencias, pero además, teme ser asesinada por su ex esposo, a quien define como un hombre sumamente peligroso, portador de drogas y armas.

Y le recuerda también al visitador general de Derechos Humanos, que él ya sabe que Idema ha estado propagando el SIDA en Bacalar, lugar donde el ex boina verde –hoy se sabe-, vivió hasta su último día de vida.

No obstante, hay otra parte que resalta en el correo de Penny Alesi, pues sugiere que el propio visitador de los Derechos Humanos jugó un papel importante en la impunidad que Idema gozó todo este tiempo.

Este es el texto íntegro del mail de Penny Alesi. Primero el texto original en Inglés y debajo de éste su traducción al Español:

I find it completely deplorable, despicable and downright disrespectful that you cannot understand my case. I am ill, very ill. I have given you the name of my witness, Fabian Francisco Vazquez Gonzalez, with his phone number. Mr. Gonzalez called you himself to explain everything and even told you he has a demand against Idema. You have seen my charges. You know Idema gave me AIDS, you know I am not able to travel there or it will kill me. Yet, you do nothing. What is wrong with you? You know about Idema, you know he is there illegally, you know he is a war criminal, you know he has drugs & guns, you know he is giving out AIDS and he is very dangerous, yet you do nothing. I promise you, there are Americans & Mexicans that will see that justice will be served. I also promise you, that I will tell the media & everyone what part you have played in letting this criminal get away with the crime he committed against me. I hope God forgives you, because I won't.

Lo encuentro completamente deplorable, despreciable y francamente una falta de respeto que no pueda entender mi caso. Estoy enferma, muy enferma. Ya le he dado el nombre de mi testigo, Fabián Francisco Vázquez González, con su número de teléfono. El señor González le llamó él mismo para explicarle todo y hasta le dijo que él tiene una demanda en contra de Idema. Usted ha visto los cargos. Usted sabe que Idema me dio el SIDA. Usted sabe que yo no puedo viajar ahí o me matará. Usted todavía no sabe nada. ¿Qué pasa con Usted? Usted sabe de Idema, usted sabe que él está ahí ilegalmente, usted sabe que él es un criminal de guerra, usted sabe que él tiene drogas y armas, usted sabe que él está dando SIDA y es muy peligroso, y aún así usted no hace nada. Le prometo, que hay Americanos y Mexicanos que verán que se haga justicia. También le prometo que le diré a los medios y a todos qué parte ha jugado usted permitiéndole a este criminal que se salga con la suya con el crimen que cometió contra mi. Espero que Dios lo perdone, porque yo no.

JOSÉ CARLOS CORTÉS MUGÁRTEGUI

El Visitador General de la CDHEQR, José Carlos Cortés Mugártegui, tuvo que dejar en Octubre de 2009, su cargo como magistrado del Tribunal Superior de Justicia de Quintana Roo, tras un escándalo de fraude a favor de Bancomer en el que él estuvo involucrado, al hacer procedente un proceso por el cuál, haciendo uso de sus facultades como magistrado, juzgó parcialmente favoreciendo a esa empresa.

Derivado de esto, el empresario que promovió el juicio contra Bancomer, Carlos Parra Jiménez, solicitó en ese entonces al Congreso del Estado, investigar a los magistrados que participaron en el fraude, solicitud que le llegó a la Legislatura justo antes de iniciar un proceso de renovación de magistrados del TSJ.

El 20 de Octubre de ese año, el Congreso de Quintana Roo sólo ratificó a dos magistrados del TSJ, entre los que no estaba Cortés Mugártegui, razón por la que fue separado de la Institución.

¿SE PROPAGÓ EL SIDA EN BACALAR?

La advertencia de Penny Alesi es clara. No obstante, se desconoce bien a bien si Idema propagó la enfermedad más allá de su primer círculo de amigos, pues ya es del dominio público que este hombre realizaba fiestas con gran dispendio en su casa de Bacalar.

Ninguna autoridad de salud de Quintana Roo ha reportado algún trabajo de inspección sobre el particular en ese lugar.

Tampoco se tiene certeza de quiénes participaban en esa fiestas, donde se dice, se consumían drogas y practicaban sexo masivo.

En tanto no haya una inspección de salud en el lugar, prevalece la duda que al paso del tiempo se va transformando en una leyenda urbana. Aquella que da cuenta de las vivencias de “El Rambo de Bacalar”.

The Inspector General of the CDHEQR, José Carlos Cortes Mugartegui, had to leave in October 2009, his position as judge of the Superior Court of Justice of Quintana Roo, after a fraud scandal for Bancomer in which he was involved, the do from a process by which, using its powers as a judge, judged partially favoring the company.

American Jonathan Keith Idema, 48, charged with running his own private prison and abuse of Afghan prisoners in Kabul, stands trial in the Afghan capital on Wednesday, July 21, 2004. The US military on Thursday acknowledged it held an Afghan man for a month after receiving him from three American counterterror vigilantes who have since been arrested on charges of torture at a private jail they ran in the Afghan capital.

Jonathan Keith “Jack” Idema, the con man extraordinaire from Fayetteville who spent years in an Afghan prison for running a private jail and torture chamber while claiming to be a secret Pentagon operative, has reportedly died in Mexico.

His death at age 55 marks the end of perhaps the most colorful, unpleasant and self-dramatizing character to tread North Carolina soil since Blackbeard.

Idema was a former soldier who reinvented himself repeatedly as he ran cons from Fayetteville to Uzbekistan. At various times he claimed to be a businessman, author, “superpatriot” terrorist hunter, drug and gun smuggler, bodyguard, security consultant, CIA paramilitary operator, Pentagon-backed special operator and, finally, charter boat captain.

The cause of death was complications from AIDS, according to local newspaper reports in Mexico and a former girlfriend, Penny Alessi, who was in contact with him until days before his death.

He apparently succumbed several days ago, but a U.S. State Department official in Washington said the government has not been able to confirm his death. A consulate official in Merida, Mexico, said the office is being careful because they’ve had trouble confirming his identity.

They are hardly the first.

Idema was born and raised in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and enlisted in the Army after high school. He served with the Special Forces from 1975 to 1978, according to his military record, and was then discharged from active duty.

He eventually went into the paintball equipment business in Fayetteville and began selling military-style clothing.

In 1994, he was convicted of fraud in U.S. District court for using a shell company to bilk suppliers of items valued at more than $200,000.

He served four years in prison, and there started a lasting pattern: He claimed that he had been set up by a government agency, this time the FBI.

According to records, he was charged with more than three dozen other crimes in North Carolina, among them assault on a female, assault with a deadly weapon, passing worthless checks, assault by pointing a gun and reckless driving.

Until his death, he was still wanted in Wake County for impersonating a law enforcement officer during a 2004 traffic stop.

In late 2001, he popped up in Afghanistan, claiming to be, variously, a humanitarian aid worker, CIA operative and hired advisor to the Northern Alliance forces who fought with U.S. troops against the Taliban.

He conned one Afghan warlord into believing that he was training some of the warlord’s men on behalf of the U.S. government, then instead rented their services to journalists who needed security details.

Several journalists were taken in by his offers of information and security, and he successfully used his fake covert operator act to woo at least a few female journalists, said Robert Young Pelton, author of “Licensed to Kill: Hired Guns in the War on Terror.” The book includes a chapter on Idema that plays almost like comic relief amidst tales of mercenaries.

Eventually his play-acting in Afghanistan took a more serious turn than just hoodwinking Dan Rather or foisting fake Taliban training video on cable news producers.

At some point, he and a rag-tag band of followers he dubbed Task Force Saber 7, began kidnapping innocent Afghan “terror suspects” and torturing them, ostensibly to find the location of Osama bin Laden and other terrorist leaders.

In 2004, Afghan authorities arrested him and two American accomplices, Brent Bennett, another former soldier from Fayetteville, and Ed Caraballo, a freelance videographer.

In an Afghan court, Idema claimed that he had been operating with the support and knowledge of Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld and other American officials.

U.S. and Afghan officials repeatedly said he had been operating on his own.

The trio was convicted of kidnapping and torture, and they were sent to Pul-e-Charkhi prison outside Kabul.

It’s one of the most notorious prisons in the world because of the dangerous inmates and harsh conditions. Idema, though, somehow managed to land in an apartment-style cell with luxurious carpets, satellite television and a private bathroom and dining area. He had a pet dog, a phone and access to the internet, which he used to make more mischief, tormenting his enemies and threatening legal action.

He was supposed to serve 10 years, but President Hamid Karzai commuted his sentence 2007.

Idema had collected a handful of supporters in the United States, and one, an attorney, filed suit against the federal government, accusing the State Department and FBI of gaming the Afghan judicial and prison systems to get Idema convicted and tortured.

It was just one of many lawsuits filed by Idema or on his behalf.

Idema sued CBS. He sued Steven Spielberg's studio, claiming a movie starring George Clooney was an unauthorized version of his story. He sued people with whom he stored the remnants of his military gear company.

He sued enemies, he threatened friends. At one point, he even sued his own father, who is now dead.

When he got out of the Afghan prison, Idema still had warrants out for his arrest in North Carolina and also feared shadowy federal charges if he was caught in the United States. Instead of coming home, said Alessi, his former girlfriend, he went to Dubai, where he began trying to pull together a drug and arms smuggling operation. Then he moved to Mexico.

There, he settled in a Middle East-turreted house and began running a charter boat for tourists.

Idema reinvented himself not only repeatedly but well, said Pelton.

And much of the Idema story would be funny if only he hadn’t left a trail of damaged lives as he scammed his way around the world, Pelton said.

“He would meet somebody that he needed, or wanted to be like, like (author) Robin Moore, then absorb all their mannerisms, words and the way they dressed,” he said.

It worked in part because he was highly intelligent, Pelton said. Few con artists could worm their way into helping Moore, the author of “The Green Berets,” write a book.

And few could come up with such strong legal arguments for so many spurious causes, he said.

Indeed, Alessi said, Idema wrote nearly all of the legal filings that he was involved with.

“I know, because I sat there and watched him,” she said. “Then the lawyers would just sign off on them.”

Alessi said that Idema’s problems went beyond criminality, that he had to be mentally ill because he seemed to believe his own made-up stories.

“At one point, I was talking with him on the phone, and he was said he didn’t have AIDS, that it was impossible because he had ‘superblood,’” she said

“He told the same stories again and again, and even if he was drunk and stoned out of his mind, the details were always exactly the same, because he really believed these things, even that ‘superblood’ stuff,” Alessi said.

When he got to Mexico, Alessi, who had begun corresponding with Idema online while he was locked in the Afghan prison, began spending time with him in the turreted house.

In his last few years, she said, as he began to fall apart from the effects of his illness and epic drug and alcohol use, his extraordinary skills got scrambled and he couldn’t stick to just one fake persona.

For the public, he played the daytime role of a tour boat operator known as “Captain Black Jack,” modeled after “The Pirates of the Caribbean” movie character played by Johnny Depp.

At home, he lounged in Arab robes, a cut-rate Lawrence of Arabia. A pirate flag wafted from house’s minaret-like turret.

To the end, one of Idema’s biggest fears was not being taken seriously. In late 2010 after The News & Observer ran a story that dubbed him “a walking parody of U.S. foreign policy,” a reporter reached Idema on his cell phone. The often charming sociopath loosed a fusillade of active verb-laden profanity and threats.

“I’ll come up there and put a bullet in your ... head,” he concluded. “You’ve got no … idea who you are (messing) with.”

Which was true.

It will probably always be unclear who, exactly, Jonathan Keith Idema really was.

“The question,” Pelton said, “is who that one person is who he actually told the truth to?

“Was there even one?”

Bernie: The role you ladies will play for the next couple of hours are journalist. The name of your publication is The Seattle Slimes. I will be playing the role of your boss, Mr. John Turley, just as soon as I get this cruise ship docked in the private VIP parking garage. Okay...here we are!

[The limousine glides to at a stop and the ballroom crew opens the door for Fanny and Doris. The crowd along both sides of the rope line span their faces, but remain silent as no one recognizes them. The two women ignore the crowd, whose attention is drawn to a man and woman who dismount from the limo behind theirs just after Bernie disappears.]

Elderly Woman: [Loud] IT'S JANE FONDA! Who is the man with her?

Older Man: [LOUD] IT'S HANOI JANE FONDA, THE TRAITOR-BITCH! BOO! BOO!

Elderly Woman: [slaps man on the side of the head] I'll have you know that Ms. Fonda is a famous actress and....

Man: ...TRAITOR-BITCH! [Attempts to spit on Fonda as she walks past. Woman at his side slaps him in the face. A mini-riot breaks out as the pro and anti Jane Fonda factions go at it. Police and hotel security guards attempt to separate the fighters and restore order.]

[SCENE: Entrance queue at the ballroom for the unknown guests. Fanny and Doris are waiting patiently in this line as an elderly and clearly upset Jane Fonda rushes past them with heavy security into the ballroom.]

Fanny: Doris, I believe that was Jane Fonda...

Doris: She is still alive. I thought she had died! How old is she? About 100?

Fanny: In her late 70s or early 80s. Evil never dies.

Doris: I can't believe Nixon didn't have her arrested after that highly unauthorized photo op to Hanoi in the middle of a war.

Fanny: I can. Nixon was into appeasement of the American Left. It didn't help him. There is a lesson here...

[The two women are at the head of the line. The security guard checks their “papers” against a guest list. He checks them off and another well dressed lackey greets them and says..]

Lackey: If you ladies will follow me.

[Fanny and Doris fall in behind the teenager and he leads them into the central part of the ballroom. It is a grand affair done in post modern will lots of glass and space. The dance floor where they stand allows the guests to look up at several tiers that now swarm with well dressed people. An orchestra is seated in the rear and softly playing something classical by Mozart.]

Lackey: Over this way [pointing] is the food buffet and over there [pointing] is the wet bar. Everything is free. Enjoy! [Disappears quickly as if he fears being seen in their company]

Fanny: No respect for The Seattle Slimes here, I see!

Doris: Well they are a bunch of commies, you know...and we are the opposition media. I can imagine MSNBC wouldn't be greeted with open arms at a political function hosted by Free Republic.

Fanny: If the Leftist staff knows about our newspaper, then it really must exist! I never heard of it until yesterday when Uncle Bernie gave us the script.

Doris: If you went shopping at the supermarket more, you would know the TSS is right up near the checkout counter beside The National Enquirer.

Fanny: “Doing the job the State Controlled Media won't do?”

Doris: You got it, girlfriend! And we cover the zombie stories too!

Fanny: Why do I need a drink?

[The two women walk towards the free bar through the crowd. When they arrive, they notice it is mobbed. A man yells something to them and waves. They turn and notice two young men drinking champagne from a large chilled bottle on a small round table. Fanny and Doris walk over to join them]

Young Man #1: I'm Fred and this is my pal Chuck. We have the booze because we paid for it. If you want the freebees, be prepared to wait an hour. The other option is join us in our effort to destroy a bottle of expensive French champagne.

Chuck: The down side is that we are on “The Other Side” - National Review.

[The girls join them at the table. Chuck jumps up and holds a chair for Fanny. The tall Fred with red hair, does the same for the tall blond Doris.]

Fanny: NR, What luck! TSS here! I'm Karen Longstreet and my co-worker is Sally Hanson.

[Chuck pours a glass of champagne for Fanny in a fresh glass, then does the same for Fred and Doris. He refills his glass as well. The foursome click glasses and start to drink]

Fred: I love the zombie stories at TSS! Can we talk insider information? The zombies are allegory for the American Left.

Doris: You found us out, oh clever one!

Fred: I knew it!

Fanny: And the Leftists still think the TSS is serious about the zombies..[laughs]

Chuck: Well Leftists as a rule aren't very intelligent...I recently did an article for NR on this very issue. It is a fact – the majority of Lefties have below average I.Q.s.

Fanny: ...and very evil. A dangerous combination...I don't agree that the president's idea of giving a radical like him control of the Department of Labor in order to “watch him” was a good idea. It reminds me of the Wiemar Republic and a Chancellor named Hitler...

Fred: As is well known, the contemporary Democrat Party and the Communist Party are one and the same....They have merged just like the Nationalist Party and National Socialist Party in the the Third Reich merged in the early 1930s.

Doris: Look what happened to the Republican Party? They have have become a fascist party under our latest president...

Fred: [kicking back a glass of champagne and pouring another] So what's next for the USA? Communism or Nazism? The optimists pray for fascism and the defeatists say socialism.

Fanny: And what does a drunk realist like you say?

Fred: The Republic is dead...gone...finished!

Doris: No hope?

Chuck: None for this government...Reform is impossible! It's been tried too many times to mention. The time has come for destruction...REVOLUTION!

Fanny: It would appear that you and Smithson do have one thing in common!

Doris: The American patriot is always a revolutionist. If government becomes oppressive, it is our sacred duty to reform or destroy it...

Fred: [Clearly drunk] I love you, tall and blond! Can we get married?

Doris: I have a guy already, but I'll keep the offer in mind in case things don't work out. [laughs]

Fanny: So Chuck, we get our guns and go to Washington, D.C. and shoot the current government?

Chuck: For a start...

Fred: Shooting is too good for the bastards...hang 'em high says me!

Chuck: [pulling the glass out of his hand] You have been cut off, Fred Baldwin!

Doris: [refilling her glass]...and the first thing we do is shoot the lawyers...

Fred: I'd drink to that, except the bar just closed for me.

[Fanny's purse rings. She takes out her cellphone and answers.]

Fanny: We have to leave you guys, the boss calls us to duty.

[The two women finish their drinks and say their goodbyes to the men. They dodge the drinkers and move back towards the entrance looking for Bernie. A loud voice yells...]

Chuck: Karen! Karen Longstreet! [Fanny ignores him. Finally he catches up with her retreating figure and pulls her around.]

Fanny: I'm sorry, Chuck, but the big boss wants to talk to me and...

Chuck: I knew it! You are not Karen Longstreet. You're Fanny Kaplan, the writer-actor-director of an independent film produced at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida titled, “Working Girls” and that (pointing at Doris) is your co-star, Doris Hoffman.

[Doris has stopped just out of earshot and is looking at the two with concern. Bernie joins her and starts over to them, but Doris stops him. The rest of the crowd is not interested and continue talking to one another in dozens of private conversations.]

Fanny: Charles Morris? The movie critic for NR? I remember reading your review of my first movie. It was very fair and objective. I was quite pleased that review, especially as it appeared in the national media. So let me thank you....

[Chuck is looking at Fanny with amazement]

Chuck: You admit that you're a liar? That you crashed a party by means of identity theft?

Fanny: [Smiles an innocent smile] It's only identity theft if there really is a “Karen Longstreet” at the TSS and there isn't...

[Bernie and Doris walk over]

Bernie: I'm sorry young man, but I need this woman for legal business reasons. I'm her boss.

Fanny: He knows I'm not Karen Longstreet...He saw “Working Girls.” He's a film critic and journalist for National Review.

Doris: Do we shoot him?

Chuck: If that is suppose to be funny, it isn't.

Fanny: No joke, you have three guns pointed at you.

[The trio surround Chuck. Fanny moves close and sticks a gun in Chuck's side.]

Bernie: The way this goes down, we take you to the parking garage, tie you up and lock you in the trunk of a limousine for a few hours.]

Chuck: Then what?

Bernie: That depends...but as it stands now, you face certain death, Fanny will shoot you.

Fanny: It would be a pity; however, this nosey parker should have practiced MYOB.

Chuck: MYOB?

Fanny: “Mind Your Own Business.”

Bernie: Let's go.

[SCENE: Doris, Fanny and Chuck are seated in the back of the Lincoln limousine. Chuck has been tied up with duct tape around the hands and feet. On a small table in the center are personal items taken from the pockets of Chuck. Fanny is going through the wallet pulling out items. There is a loud bump. Bernie opens the door and gets in.]

Bernie: Cancel that idea. There is no room in the trunk. He isn't going in there anyhow.

Fanny: It is amazing all the trouble one little drink can cause...we should have kept walking.

Doris: I was there too. I'm to blame as well! It takes two to tango...

Bernie: What did I say earlier? A plan is only good until the first shoot is fired.

Doris: This is the part where the training pays off..Adapt to the situation...

Bernie: We either have to shoot you in the next 30 minutes or let you go.

Chuck: Speaking as the personal representative of Charles Morris, I say let him go. He will remain silent.

Fanny: [Looking at a picture of a 13 year old boy holding a Torah] You're a Jew?

Chuck: Well let's see...my mother was a Jew...My father was a Jew...

Fanny: Cut the tape. He's with us. The three of us are Jews too.

Doris: But he might be a Leftist Jew...Most Jews are Lefties, you know...

Fanny: He works for National Review. I've read his articles. He's a stalwart Republican! And [She holds up a booklet] a pocket size U.S. Constitution that includes the Declaration of Independence. Leftists never carry these documents unless they're out of toilet paper and on their way to the bathroom.

[Bernie takes out a pocket knife and cuts the bonds, Chuck pulls off the tape and silently gathers his personal effects and returns them to his pockets. The trio look ashamed and glum. When Chuck finishes up, he opens the door and steps out, but leans back in with his right hand and holding above the door to keep his balance.]

Chuck: When I was a kid, my favorite television program was “Hogan's Heroes.” My favorite character was that big fat German sergeant who always told the POWs when he caught them red handed doing resistance work, “I know nothing, I see nothing, I hear nothing.”

[Chuck smiles and walks away with his hands in his pockets while whistling the “Hogan's Heroes” music score that echoes in the deserted parking garage.]

Fanny: He won't say anything...he's with us.

Bernie: Even if he doesn't know it yet...I sense a righteous man.

Doris: [picking up a business card off the floor] Look what I found, Chuck's business card.

Fanny: It was not left behind by mistake...He wants us to make contact.

Doris: What now?

Bernie: I'm waiting for Smithson appearance upstairs...Just before I called Fanny, Harold called to tell me that Smithson made a short appearance and went up to the 48th floor. We stand by here until I get the head's up from Harold...wait...[a tinny voice says something via earphones to Bernie. He listens intently for several minutes then speaks] Okay, thanks Harold [Bernie is speaking into a small microphone on his coat collar]

Fanny: Well?

Bernie: The deal is that Smithson is on the 48th floor conference alone with an attractive woman.

Doris: The horny bastard!

Bernie: It's not sex. Apparently the woman is a Communist spy by the name of Phoebe Myers with secret Wjite House information. What she has told Smithson, and duly recorded by Harold, is a game changer. She also has given him a computer data storage device that contains the document backing up her story.

Fanny: So the mission is canceled?

Bernie: No way! [The tinny voice again] Harold says the woman is leaving and Smithson is reading the documents on his laptop. He shows no sign of going back downstairs.

Doris: It's time for the reception to end...

Bernie: The building will be empty in about an hour...at 10 P.M. - Let's get ready for the Combat Assault.

[SCENE: About an hour later in the private VIP garage. The trio are dressed in black uniforms and are doing a last minute weapon's check.]

Fanny: No last warning?

Doris: Would it have done any good?

Bernie: David Hunter told me they were given several warning over the last few months to step down, or face “termination with extreme prejudice.” I gather from Harold's updates that Smithson and his buds upstairs have doubled down on treason.

Fanny: And treason carries the death sentence...

Bernie: We have it all on DVD in living color...When we leave tonight with Harold, we will be taking the evidence with us.

Bernie: [Tinny voice in ear says something] Okay, Marines, the building is now locked down and all civilians, including the security guards have departed...No one inside The Prud but the good guys and the bad guys...Let's suit up.

[The three don bullet proof jackets, ski masks and kevlar helmets. The trio are now dressed head to toe in black combat uniforms. It is difficult to tell the man from the women. They pick up the weapons to load and lock them with a magazine. When this is done, Bernie gives the infantry signal by hand for “follow me” and they enter the freight elevator. The door closes...]

[SCENE: Conference room on 48th floor. The room is full of cigarette smoke. A black man with a bald head seated at the head of conference table is listening to someone.]

Smithson: I agree with most of your reservations, but what choice do we have? The fascists will conduct a coup. Our best chance to create the United Socialist States of America is to move first.

Woman: My Red Guards can do this...We kill the president, vice president and the shadow government minsters...What's left?

Man: [to her left] Ms. Steinberg you are forgetting about the military. Do you expect Conway to do nothing?

Steinberg: Mr. Manson, who said Conway would be alive when our putsch happens? General Stevens of the USAF, a secret comrade since he was 19, will be Chairman of the JCS.

Manson: If your Red Guards can get rid of Conway, I see no reason why the putsch cannot succeed.

Smithson: Conway is well guarded.

Steinberg: My people have discovered a way to assassinate him. Czar Alexander III was well guarded, but the assassins found a weak link in his security fence. If a Russian Czar can be killed at high noon in the middle of St.Petersburg, an American general in Washington, D.C. will present no problem.

Smithson: Then we are in agreement? The revolution begins with a bold strike against the leaders of the old regime...Let's vote. [Everyone of the 23 (except for Smithson's secretary) seated at the table raises his or her party card in agreement]

[SCENE: There is loud gunfire outside the room. Suddenly the door literally flies across the room followed by three figures dressed in black with weapons at the ready]

Bernie: Hands up and against the wall!

[SCENE: The stunned Communists do as they are ordered...except for Smithson. He pulls out a pistol and shoots one of the black figures in the chest who goes down. The two survivor open up with automatic weapons fire that takes down all the Communists, starting with Smithson, When the massacre is complete, Doris pulls off her mask and helmet, and begins to check the fallen friend for wounds. She joined by Bernie who continues to undress Fanny looking for wounds and checking her pulse. Fanny moans...]

Bernie: She will okay, the vest stopped the round. Help me drag her outside. She will be just fine!

[Bernie and Doris drag Fanny outside. Bernie returns and pulls out a pistol and delivers the coup de grace to each of the fallen and bloody Communists. He runs out of ammunition after fifteen rounds and stops to reload. This is when he notices that a badly wounded Smithson is trying to crawl out of the room. He walks over to him and points the gun at the back of Smithson's head. The man feeling something ominous rolls over to face Bernie.]

Bernie: SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS! [He fires and blows apart Smithson's face]

[Bernie continues the shooting until each of the Communists are shot in the head. He moves the body of the dead secretary and gathers up the documents and Smithson's laptop which go into his backpack. After this is done he carefully checks out the room one final time before his exit.]

[SCENE: Outside the conference room. Fanny has been placed up against a wall opposite the conference room door by Doris, who has opened a well stocked First Aid kit, and is talking to Fanny as she searches for medicine. Bernie walks past the bodies of the two obviously dead Communist security guards, then returns to shoot both in the head,]

Doris: Very professional Bernie, always put the last round in the old brain bucket just to be sure!

Bernie: How's Fanny?

Fanny: Hurting! I feel like I got hit by a truck!

Bernie: Excellent!

Doris: [frowning] Excellent?

Bernie: Feeling pain from a gunshot wound is good. It means you're still alive.

Doris: I give! What can I do for her? She's not bleeding...pain killers?

Bernie: Just keep her talking and awake. We don't want her going into shock.

Doris: What about getting her to the ER?

Fanny: No...I can handle the pain. If I go to the ER with a gunshot wound, the cops get called...

Bernie: [Looking down at her naked chest] Your chest and boobs are going to look like hell for a few weeks, but you should heal okay...you're not bleeding from the mouth, so the lungs are okay...Ready to stand up?

[Bernie and Doris on either side pull Fanny to her feet and the trio start walking down a corridor to the freight elevator. Doris returns to put the First Aid kit back in her backpack. Then she pulls a red rose in plastic out of pocket with gloved hand and throws into the conference room.]

A news report from Mexico confirms that Idema is dead.

A confidential informant reports to this writer that Idema died a very painful death and was abandoned for the last week of his life by his Mexican lackeys when the money ran out.

The Casa Arabi resort that was owned by Idema, and where he died this morning, was said to have been looted and stripped of anything valuable, while Idema lay dying on a filthy blood stained bed vainly begging the looters for food, drink and pain killers.

Idema weighed 98 pounds at death, covered with purple lesions (Kaposi's Sarcoma) and had pus sores (herpes) all over his genitals and thighs. It was his heroin supplier who found him dead in bed with vomit and feces around him.

It is not clear what happened to the body, but there are unconfirmed reports that it has been thrown into the street and was eaten by wild dogs.

Washington Post: "Mr. Obama is hoping the killing of Osama bin Laden will silence his critics, but Mr. Bush had no luck resting on the laurels of his successful war against Saddam Hussein. The same Democrats who accused President George W. Bush of unfairly exploiting the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks for political gain will draw the bin Laden takedown like a gun to promote Mr. Obama. As former United Nations Ambassador John Bolton said, Mr. Obama’s taking personal credit for the bin Laden mission would be like Richard Nixon hyping his intimate role in the 1969 Moon landing “because it happened to occur during his presidency.” These were long-prepared-for events that would have been possible regardless of who was in office.

"The bin Laden killing is a slim reed on which to base an argument for another four years. Mr. Obama can hardly promise he will do it again."

But what comments made it into the news? More attacks on each other and doing more of Obama's work for him while passing up this opportunity to speak of how Democrats keep us in slavery to middle-eastern oil producers; nations who dislike us with a passion.
What a chance for each candidate to demonstrate their contrast with Barack Obama, which I think would have done more to present each one as someone to lead this nation much better than what we have now.
But what was in the news? Immediately after the story of Obama rejecting the Keystone Pipeline was a sound byte of Newt discussing Romney's tax reports. Disgusting.

A shortish strong looking older man with gray hair and neat beard in butler attire has just opened a wine bottle and in the process refilling the glasses. He speaks..]

Fanny: If you'd been paying attention last summer when Steve put us though boot camp in the Ocala National Forest, you'd know “CA” in militaryese means “Combat Assault” - you know, when the troops jump out the helicopter with their safeties off ready for combat.

Harold: Hence, the steak dinner. The Marine Corps always served us steak just before the CA in the 'Nam.

Bernie: When the assault team get on the freight elevator tomorrow night, we will be in full combat gear to include flak jackets upgraded to be bullet proof...and Kevlar helmets.

Fanny: Don't you think that's a bit too much? The opposition will be in business dress and not armed. After all, they think nothing violent can happen to them...

Bernie: I would expect a couple of armed security guards out side the entrance to the conference room and one or more of the opposition to be armed. Smithson, for instance, is known to be armed and has a gun permit to carry a concealed weapons. I wouldn't be surprised if there are others in the crowd with guns.

Harold: I agree...with are dealing with Communists here...violent people....and paranoid.

Bernie: The motto of the Corps is to plan for the worst and hope for the best...Body armor saved many a Marine in Vietnam. We may not need it...Then again...

Fanny: The opposition have been warned they are in danger of assassination?

Bernie: David Hunter has seen to it that all members of this Communist cell have been warned that they face death unless they resign immediately from the CPUSA and renounce Communism.

Doris: Any takers?

Bernie: Yes, and you'll be watching our back down in the control room while this is going on.

Harold: The battlefield will be isolated and short of someone setting off a large bomb up there on the 48th floor, none will be the wiser on Friday night except those involved.

Harold: No problem...I'm thinking of the public reaction that may be quite negative against the White Rose and the Tea Party.

Fanny: I think I see your point, Uncle Bernie. The state controlled media will attempt to make martyrs out of the death commies...

Doris: But I just don't see how video of them being gun down in mass is going to help the resistance movement...If anything their stock would rise.

Bernie: First of all, we get to edit the video. I have some very interesting footage that hasn't been released on their last meeting in New York City where they talk of an overthrow of the U.S. Government.

Fanny: Well that's nothing...Commies always talk that talk! We would need a conspiracy meeting with a plan for a coup. Do you have that?

Bernie: No...

Fanny: Then my suggestion is that you rethink this option.

Bernie: Okay then...The release of the videotape is on hold...But I still want Harold to roll tape on everything that happens at The Prud, starting with the mayor's reception. Then later we decide what to do.

Harold: I can do that...no problem. I'll play AV specialist in the control room and give you the raw feeds on DVDs.

Bernie: The next item on the agenda is the mayor's reception that myself, Doris and Fanny will attend.

Harold: This is a risk...and not necessary.

Bernie: Yes, it's a risk, but very necessary.

Fanny: Why?

Bernie: The military code of honor. We are warriors, not murderers. If your enemy is asleep, you must wake him up and put him on guard. I intend to tell Comrade Smithson face-to-face he's looking at death if he does not stand down his Communist Party.

Doris: I think you're as crazy as I am, Uncle Bernie...But this idea appeals to the James Bond fan in me...The good guy and super villain meet face to face before the big showdown and trade insults...

Bernie: How good is Blackwing video production?

Harold: State of the art and getting better, the video wonks at MIT are not far away...

Bernie: In a crowded full of conversation ballroom, you could focus the camera and record the video and audio bewtween two men?

Harold: Piece of cake...If I could wire up one of the speakers...

Bernie: Wire me up and the girls too.

Fanny: Uncle Bernie you are really making things easy for the opposition...Our smiling faces in living color.

Bernie: Who said anything about releasing the video? I was thinking about leading Mayor O'Reilly down the politically incorrect path to defeat by the Republicans this fall. The old saying about giving a man enough rope to hang himself. This wouldn't be the first time conversation with pretty women sank a political career.

Doris: So Fanny and I get the chance to do an interview with the Man, while posing as your star reporters for the popular Northwest tabloid, The Seattle Slimes...Mr. CEO Turley.

Bernie: I gave you ladies first dibs on Mayor O'Reilly....Have your fun! Then kindly old Uncle Bernie moves in for the kill.

Doris: I didn't know we were going to shoot the mayor too, although he is a Democrat and you how far to the Left those people are, and very likely deserves to be off'd.

Fanny: In case “kill” was a figure of speech. The deal here is that we get Mike O'Reilly to be Mike O'Reilly on tape: stupid, sexist, racist, degenerate and criminal. You know, a typical big city mayor in the Northeast. Then we edit the tape and give it to the GOP. The Republicans leak it to the Big Media. The Big Media throw the tape away, but the Little Media fishes it out of the trash can and posts it all over the Internet. And in the fall the Republicans sweep the city elections.

Harold: I have to hand it to you folks: You really know how to plan a conspiracy! I'm glad we are on the same side.

Fanny: We are good at planning...and better at execution.

Bernie: Without action, plans are useless.

Doris: We are the Red Rose, the action branch of the White Rose.

Harold: I thought this was a White Rose operation.

Fanny: Originally, we were White Rose. Originally, Uncle Bernie was Jewish Defense League. We have evolved from there.

Doris: It's really a division of labor in revolution – The White Rose takes care of the ideology, public relations, politics. supplies, money and government. The hands of the White Rose are clean as fresh snow. They are officially against violence and obey the law; a virgin bride at a wedding. But alas..! The White Rose was attacked by the regime and many members were arrested. In prison they were beaten and bloodied. The bright red drops fell on the White Rose below turning them red...

Harold: The Internet rumors about thousands of people being arrested and sent to Alaska are true?

Bernie: It has been confirmed by a recent escape from an Aleutian island named Shemya,. This island is only a few hundred miles from Russia in the Bering Sea. A man on a raft was picked up by a Russian fishing boat and later died from the effects 0f exposure during his escape. The Bering Sea is subarctic and survival in an open boat is not long. However, before the man died he told about the concentration camp the SS set up on the old Cold War base.

Harold: I never heard about this before today...

Bernie: Not many have...The Russian government put a top secret stamp on the tale, but a member of the Russian resistance got the story out to the White Rose.

Harold: How many arrested?

Bernie: We aren't sure...in the low thousands we estimate. These are people on the SS Watch List who are not usually well known to the general public, but folks the SS believes have the potential to be leading revolutionists.

Doris: Like Obama? He disappeared after he left office. So did the wife and kids.

Fanny: They went back to Hawaii...

Doris: Then what? Nothing! They just fall off the edge of the earth. I checked. The Obamas are "non persons" like those people in "1984" who get "vaporized" by Big Brother.

Bernie: I think you are jumping to conclusions, Doris. We have evidence that the SS is making arrests without color of law and sending them to Alaska. We have no evidence anyone has been executed by them.

Doris: How about JFK in 1963? The SS let Oswald assassinate him. If you study the assassination of Kennedy, it's the only theory that makes sense.

Fanny: Harold and Bernie - Doris is conspiracy central.

Doris: Like "DUH!" What have we been doing of late?

Fanny:...and anyway what would the alleged disappearance of the Obama clan have to do with the John F. Kennedy assassination? The next silly thing you'll be saying is that Bush was behind the whole thing..

Doris: No, but Lyndon Johnson did have Kennedy murdered so he could be president...with the help of the Secret Service.

Bernie: A dead bird fell at my feet yesterday...The SS killed that poor bird.

Doris: Okay, I'll be the first to admit I'm paranoid. But I also have the highest I.Q. in this room and well read. It is the fact that the Secret Service has evolved into a latter day Praetorian Guard. I submit it didn't happen over night. First they make and break the emperors. The next logical development is that they become the emperor.

Bernie: I would think it better to be the power behind the throne. If things go west, the head of state gets the blame and takes the fall...

Doris: Absolute Power, Uncle Bernie, ABSOLUTE POWER is that name of the D.C. game. At some point in American history one of the Directors of the SS will grab the ring of power off the finger of a dead president. Why be an unknown second man in America, when you can be the first? The Man! The EMPEROR!

Harold: I think we all agree at the very least America has POLITICAL PRISONERS. It would appear things are worse than I thought...

Fanny: The president signed the “Fog and Night” executive order over a year ago. The Secret Service – the damn American SS – has the authority now to arrest anyone in the country and make them disappear.

Doris: And the SS loves to make arrests at 3 a.m. Chilling,heh? Just like the Gestapo! Suddenly your bedroom is invaded by masked men in black and the next thing you know, you're at the National Interrogation Center at FCI Butner, North Carolina being given the Third Degree. The next stop is Shemya...if you survive the brutal interrogation.

Fanny: About these arrests – most of the time only one person gets bagged by the SS. However, if you are seldom separated from your wife/husband/kids/pets – like a family farm for example – the SS makes a clean sweep of everything living, including the dogs and cats. This is done of the basis of guilty by association, although I fail to see how young children and Rover could be part of an anti-government conspiracy.

Harold: Don't the relations and friends report the people missing?

Bernie: In nearly every case....The local cops know nothing and are told nothing by the SS. They take down the missing persons reports...sometimes even run an APB. But the missing people stay missing – vanished into the “Fog and Night.”

Harold: What's next? Mass graves? Killing fields?

Fanny: Ayn Rand said that when people begin to disappear on the basis of having the wrong politics, the tyranny was present.

Doris: When the concentration camp and the torture were confirmed, we became The Red Rose...

Fanny: It was Steve's idea...

Bernie: It my idea...

Doris: It was David Hunter's idea! He is the new Sam Adams...

Bernie: At any rate, our resistance cell took this action as a declaration of war by the federal government on We The People – The Republic – and decided to meet force with force.

Fanny: The Feds crossed the Rubicon...They are traitors...except for the military. General Conway and the Pentagon has so far stayed independent of SS control.

Harold: So you believe the Secret Service is the federal government?

Bernie: No, but they set the agenda and do as they darn well please! If the Director of the Secret Service, John McKenna wants to “borrow” resources from the FBI, he has but to pick up the phone. Ditto for just about everything else besides the NSA, which the Pentagon still controls.

Harold: McKenna? I have never heard of him...

Bernie: Anyone can know he's the Director of the SS – this is on the official table of organization available to the general public – but few know he's the number two man in the federal government.

Fanny: The new Himmler?

Bernie: Pretty much except for the mysticism...and the loyalty.

Doris: Does he run the president, or vice versa?

Bernie: Good question...Our information is dated and based on what former members of the Old Secret Service told us about him. Since 2009 when Obama took power, the Secret Service was purged by McKenna of loyal agents. He did this by way of the personnel office he controlled as Chief of SS Intelligence.

Fanny: And one of McKenna's early victims was the Director of the Secret Service: Kill the king and be the king.

Bernie: He was killed in a tragic Washington, D.C. traffic accident, despite having an excellent driver at the wheel of his well armored and safety equipped limo.

Harold: History teaches us that anyone can be killed.

Doris: I thought the Godfather said that?

Bernie: The Mafia and the modern SS are birds of the same feather...

Harold: Then why are we going against the Reds on Friday night? It would appear they are the lesser of the two evils.

Bernie: ...but still evil and plotting a coup. The American Communist Party will be laying down final plans for take over of the federal government led by Comrade Smithson, the American Lenin...

Fanny: It is treason...

Doris: ...but none will dare call it treason if it is successful.

Harold: Who said that?

Doris: I just did...

Bernie: Anyhow, the good guys are going to head them off at pass tomorrow night...and as for the McKenna gang...We are going to need a few more men for that job.

Doris: Like General Conway's military machine...Maybe if he's not invading some country next weekend we could borrow it for our own putsch.

Bernie: We are working on that...McKenna has above 50,000 paramiltary in the uniformed SS. I would estimate the number of SS in civilian clothes is equal to that number. When liberation day finally comes, we will need lots of boots on the ground in Washington, D.C. And the major cities.

Harold: I hope everyone in this patriot game understands that if there is a coup in the capital, there's is going to be a revolution.

Fanny: Actually the revolution has already been started by the Left...We are simply picking up the gauntlet they threw on the ground at our feet back in 2009.

Doris: Don't forget the Right! After all, our current president is a Republican.

Bernie: Our present president is a Nationalist – a RINO – Mr. Big Government.

Fanny: What's the difference between a Nationalist and Socialist? Very little that I can see...

Bernie: Foreign policy and the military are the biggest differences, but remember the evil genius of Hitler was to unite both factions in his National Socialist party.

Harold: In a way this is good news for us, because the president's main man McKenna isn't going to waste tears over his rivals being taken out of the game.

Bernie: Who said McKenna is the president's man?

Fanny: I thought the man of the shadows wanted to stay here...

Bernie: McKenna is a psychopath – big time – I get this from David Hunter, no less. McKenna arrested and interrogated him back in 1998. Director of the SS, John Francis McKenna plays his own game of first man in America.

Doris: Are you saying that a successful Communist coup would advance McKenna closer to the top?

Bernie: Well, the changes after the collapse of the Soviet Union didn't hurt the career advancement of KGB officer Putin to the chair of Number One in Russia, did it?

Fanny: So you think McKenna has arranged the game in such a way that regardless of coup by the Nationalists or Socialists, he will be the last man standing with the crown on his head?

Bernie: A brilliant plan, heh? I mean you have to give the devil his due...Let the wolves kill one another over the dead body of Lady Liberty and create anarchy...Then when the dust settles emerge as the hero and savior of the nation by clearing the streets with a small well trained army.

Doris: Out of chaos comes order...

Fanny: I'd say the Fourth Reich...McKenna unites the Nationalist and Socialists factions with himself as supreme leader.

Bernie: That's how the logical mind sees the outcome. History teaches us that people would rather have a strict authoritarian leader who can put bread on the table, as well as the maintenance of law and order, rather than a country where barbarians run wild. Americans are no different – If the trains run on time and the pot holes in the street filled – the majority could care less who runs the government.

Harold: Old wine in a new bottle...One leader...One nation...ONE WORLD.

Fanny: It almost worked for Hitler.

Bernie: [Looking at the clock] Getting late. I say we break up for the evening and get a good night's sleep Then we wake up bright and early for the final preparations.

Russia: Re-Elect Obama, or It's World War III

Last week, Americans learned that they are, or soon may be, at war with Vladimir Putin's Russia. That is, of course, unless they do just exactly what the Kremlin asks, which is pretty simple, really, and consists largely of re-electing Barack H. Obama, the best friend the Kremlin ever had, as president of the United States.

The word came down from two of Russia's highest-ranking politicians, Nikolai Patrushev (head of Russia's National Security Council) and Dmitri Rogozin (formerly Russia's ambassador to the United Nations, recently elevated to deputy prime minister). Both chose to use Iran as the focal point of their remarks.

Rogozin declared:

Iran is our neighbor. And if Iran is involved in any military action, it's a direct threat to our security. We are definitely interested in the non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. But at the same time, we believe that any country has the right to have what it needs to feel comfortable, including Iran.

The words sounded uncomfortably like the words used by President John Kennedy in his October 1962 address to the nation regarding the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Then Patrushev chimed in:

There is a likelihood of military escalation of the conflict, towards which Israel is pushing the Americans. It cannot be ruled out that the Iranians will be able to carry out their threat to shut exports of Saudi oil through the Strait of Hormuz if faced with military actions against them. Talk about Iran creating an atomic bomb by next week we have heard for many years.

Patrushev accused the United States of attempting to topple Iran's government and subjugate its population "by all available means" and implied that Russia would help Iran to shut down oil supplies to the United States through the Persian Gulf if the U.S. dared to try to block Iran's nuclear weapons program, which, he assured, is nothing urgent that Americans need to worry about.

But Patrushev (who is one of Russia's most strident haters of America and her values) said it all still might work out: "In the case of Vladimir Putin and then Barack Obama coming to power, the Russian-U.S. relationship, as well as the situation in the world as a whole, may see a strengthening trend." It seems that the prospect of Americans returning Republicans to the White House makes Russians at least as nervous as the prospect of the West unseating Russia's bosom buddies in Tehran.

Russia did not limit itself to aggressively supporting Iran against the U.S. It also sailed a major part of its naval fleet into Syria, including a weapons delivery, in order to push back against Western efforts to support pro-democracy protesters there. Such action is hardly surprising, since the Kremlin has consistently supported dictators throughout the Arab spring, from Mubarak to Gaddafi.

By supporting tyrants across the Middle East, Russia accomplishes multiple objectives. It takes a stand against the spread of democracy protests, thus immunizing its own domestic scene against such outbursts. It destabilizes the Middle East, roiling oil markets and helping to fill Russian coffers with cash as the price of crude soars. And it undermines American influence, sending a clear message that if the United States does not play ball, it will face increased terrorism and uncertainty abroad.

Russia's Foreign Ministry simultaneously launched a scathing attack on the recently enacted U.S. defense budget, echoing the Soviet era in accusing the U.S. of violating multiple provisions of international law, including the Geneva Conventions, just by enacting it. Russia also accused the U.S. of violating the Conventions in conducting activity at its prison in Guantánamo Bay, Cuba. And Vladimir Popovkin, head of the Russian version of NASA, implied that the United States was secretly behind the recent string of spectacular Russian failures in space, using ominous and unspecified "powerful means" to knock out Russian space exploration vehicles time and again.

Even as these bellicose declarations were issuing from Russia, America's new ambassador, Michael McFaul, was arriving in Russia. McFaul released an utterly ridiculous propaganda video on YouTube and was deluged with hostile comments from Russians. Then McFaul opened a Twitter feed and proudly retweeted multiple press articles proclaiming that he had arrived in Russia like a white knight upon a fiery steed to prove that Obama's "reset" with Russia was not dead. Instead of confronting the Kremlin, in other words, Obama was sending a clear signal that he was on board with Russian plans -- not a hard position to take, since they conveniently include the reelection of the Russian dictatorship's best friend abroad, Obama himself.

So the Kremlin will be actively engaged in two different election campaigns this year. First in March, it will be struggling to reinsert Vladimir Putin into office as president for life, and then in November it will be struggling even harder to make sure that Putin's patsy, Barack Obama, gets to remain in the White House. Its principle strategy will be to threaten Americans with World War III unless they choose Obama.

Meanwhile, Putin is launching an all-out attack on his opponents inside Russia, for instance releasing a video comparing demonstration leader Aleksei Navalny to Adolf Hitler. Another opposition leader, Sergei Mitrokhin, was arrested during a protest action. It's a sign of things to come. Once he's president for life and has Obama safely re-ensconced in Washington, Putin will be free to launch a final crackdown on Russian civil society and wipe out any chance that the Arab spring could spread to Russia. Having done so, Putin can continue his foreign policy, which amounts to raking in a bounty of unilateral concessions from Obama, including WTO admission and the abandonment of missile defense in Eastern Europe, meanwhile forging ahead with aggressive policies in the Middle East.

In Russia's behavior, we see proven the fact that one can deal with a bully only through strength. Russia has understood Obama's "reset" proposal and his unilateral concessions only as weakness, and Putin has responded with more and more aggression both at home and abroad. Only if Obama is ousted from office by a Republican who understands the lessons taught by Ronald Reagan will there be any hope for Russia or for American interests where Russia is concerned.

In 1991, the Soviet Union, arguably the greatest experiment in Communism, collapsed. After Mao Zedong died in 1976, his successors moved to shift its Communist economy to one that embraced Capitalism while retaining centralized government control.

Following World War Two, the recovering nations of Europe were rescued from Communism by the Marshall Plan, but adopted Communism-Light in the form of Socialism. The U.S. was already headed in that direction, creating programs that we now call “entitlements.” For most of the nation’s history, such “entitlements” did not exist.

What binds together the financial problems of the West is the common thread of infantile behavior and thought. One might call it wishful thinking. Instead of encouraging people to provide for old age and possible illness, politicians decided to turn government into Big Daddy, the eternal source of money for everything.

A Short Primer On The South

With eyes of the world focused on South Carolina this last week before the primary election on Saturday, January 21^st, we felt now would be a good time to offer some insight into the people of my home state and the “Southern People” as a whole.

Every four years, I offer my little primer as an introduction and a navigation aid to those who suddenly find themselves about to be immersed in southern culture for the first time.

If you are representing the mainstream media, and this is your first visit to my country, prepare for a culture shock.

The southern people are distinctively different from the folks “up north.” The South was settled primarily by Scott-Irish with a smattering of Germans in the Mid-Atlantic area, as well as French Huguenots, and some Spanish along our coast. Our heritage IS very different.

You don’t hear it spoken of much anymore, but there still exists a “Code of the South.” No, it is NOT a myth.

You can sum it up in one word. “HONOR”. We cherish honor above everything else. Without honor, all that remains has no value.

Southerners believe each man and woman has a duty, a responsibility, to seek nobility in life and in purpose. No matter his, or her, station in life, or the social strata he, or she, was born into. There is nobility in fighting the good fight, on your job, on the field of battle, at anything you turn your hand to do.

Southerners believe we were, indeed, created in the image of God. We have a duty to uphold that image as best we can. It is a continuous battle against the trials of life, but to shirk one’s duty, in this respect, is unforgivable. It is dishonorable.

We are a culture apart. We like it that way. We have no intention of changing. To do so would be to dishonor all those who have gone before us as well as their creation of this sanctified, set apart, land. “The South” is to Southerners what the Holy Land is to the Jewish people.

Never question the honor of a Southerner. It is considered a challenge and your challenge WILL be answered.

A Southerner will go to the wall to defend honor. No matter the size of the opponent, no matter the place, or the time. Honor will be defended.

There is an inviolate line, which must never be crossed. Where does that line lie? Everywhere. For instance, you do not disparage our women. That is at the top of the list of inviolate things. Others include: our homes, our friends, our religion, our military abilities, and you surely do not speak disparagingly about our ancestors. To violate any of these will bring the wrath of the South down on your head in an instant.

You may have noticed Southerners do not back down. We refuse to accept defeat.

We are accused, often, of still fighting the War Between the States. That is true. We consider this era of forced quietude only half time between us and the North. We have never laid the war down. To quit, to surrender, is not acceptable in our code of honor. So, we fight on. Understand… we will win. It may take another hundred, or even two hundred, years, but we will prevail. We never forget, and we never quit.

It has been said that Southerners are America’s true “Warrior Class.” Consider the great warriors of America. For the most part, they were/are Southerners.

War comes naturally to Southerners. The Scot-Irish-German blood flowing in our veins and the Southern Code of Chivalry we learn from birth creates the most fearsome warrior on the face of the earth.

The true Southerner is a gentleman, or lady, always. Well, right up ‘til he takes your head off. He will knock you down then offer his hand to lift you back to your feet. If you make the same mistake again, you will find yourself in need of that helping hand to get you off your backside … again.

Southerners are deeply religious people. We unashamedly believe in God. We believe the Bible is His Holy Word. At the same time we know one cannot be perfect, but we believe every Southerner is born into this world with the obligation to strive for perfection. Anything less is totally unacceptable. It has been said this is the Southern interpretation of the European “Noblise Oblige.” Southerners know in the depths of their being they have an obligation to strive for nobility.

The Southern society is not a classless society. We acknowledge our society has an upper, middle, and a lower class. But we believe the obligation to nobility crosses those boundaries and emboldens even the least of us to carry the honor of his name, and his family’s heritage, without stain. Anything less is unacceptable.

Yes, you WILL see the Confederate Battle Flag snapping in the pine-scented southern breeze. Get used to it. It is flown in honor of our heritage – and—as a warning that the people of The South will not suffer tyranny from ANY quarter.

There exists a divide between the Northern People and the Southern People in this nation. The divide is vast and unnavigable. We are two different peoples held together by law. The bayonet enforced the bondage of the Southern peoples. We have not forgotten. Nor will we. We know these bonds are only temporary. We work tirelessly for the day we will once again be ruled only by God and voice of the Southern people.

Tis honor, above all else. It is our code. It is written on our hearts.

So -- I hope this little primer on “The South” is helpful to you media types and political apparatchiks. Remember, always: You are visitors in our home and we expect you respect our hospitality and generosity and do not besmirch what you most certainly do not understand.

And finally, if we like you, you will be sent on your way with the now world-famous: “Y’all come back – ya hear?”

WINTER KILLS (PART III)

[SCENE: Well appointed Media/Conference room with stadium style seating. The chairs are made of expensive looking black leather in several rows with a stairs in the middle that separate them into two sections. At the bottom is a table where several automatic weapons are displayed: An M-16A2, AK-47 and German WWII MP43 submachine gun. Beside each weapon are two large magazines that have taped together for rapid reload. The actions have been pulled back on all the guns and the two men, one white and one black, are looking at the MP43 in a very professional manner, while talking to one another in a low voice. The door opens and two women enter dressed in warm up suits. On Fanny's gray sweatshirt the logo, “U.S. Army” in black letters, while the red one that Doris wears proudly states “U.S. Marine Corps” in gold letters above the anchor and globe.

Bernie: Harold, let me introduce you to my niece Fanny and her best friend Doris Hoffman.

Harold: [Walking over to greet the duo at the bottom of the steps. Harold is a handsome and well built tall black man of 60 something with a big smile] You must be Fanny Kaplan, Bernie's niece (he shakes her hand with the ease of a politician and looks to the the six foot plus Doris]...and tall woman... you must be Doris. [They shake hands]

Doris: [In an excellent Sarah Palin voice] I can see RUSSIA from here!

Fanny: She never said that - It was some stupid commie comedian chick on Saturday Night Live!

Doris: [Still in Palin character] Betca Marie what's her-name said, "Let them eat cake..."

Harold: You really are crazy....

Doris: [In her own high pitched loud voice] Of course, I am! I've been diagnosed by the best doctors that my daddy could hire at the best hospitals in Florida as having "Bi Polar Disorder." But like that guy said, "If you know you're crazy and really are crazy it's okay, because generally speaking crazy people think they are SANE and the rest of the world is insane."

Harold is speechless and looking at Doris in amazement as people who first meet Doris often are...Bernie is looking up at the ceiling with lips moving in silence...]

Fanny: Doris, you got that from "Catch-22" and the author didn't exactly say that you...you...raving MOONBAT! Don't get me started Doris! You know what buttons to push...

Harold: [Putting his hand out to Doris again] Let's start over again: "Hello young lady, my name is Harold Washington..."

Doris: [In a Germanic accent] Brunhilde here, It's a pleasure to meet you! Are with the Giants? My boyfriend Siegfried hates them...

[Bernie walks over to the table and picks up the roll of masking tape and starts pulling off a piece, which goes over Fanny's mouth...The next piece goes over the mouth of Doris.]

Bernie: When Fanny was a kid, and went into overdrive while I wanted to talk to her dad, this always worked.

[Fanny has calmed down and seems content to be silenced; however, Doris is jumping up and down with bug eyes while pointing at her mouth..]

Harold: I think you taped Doris' nose up..[He walks over and pulls off the tape and tears it in half...Doris starts to talk, but Harold puts the tape back over her mouth before she can speak.] So they are both bi-polars...strong emotional mood changes between low and high?

Bernie: As is her uncle and was her father, who died from cancer back in '09. A trait that the poor Kaplan family share with the rich Hoffman family.

Harold: Come to think of it when we were Marines you were a little crazy at times, but then again, we all were all crazy back in the late 1960s, so you fit in with the crowd without being noticed.

[The two women are standing at “parade rest” like two soldiers in boot camp listening to a lecture by their NCOs. Harold takes notices and walks over to them.]

Harold: [loudly] ATTENTION! [The woman do not respond]

Bernie: Commands have to be given at attention, otherwise the Marines will ignore you.

Harold: [Coming to “attention”] ATTENTION! [The women come to the position of “attention” with bodies frozen, hands at the side and eyes focused straight ahead]

Bernie: They know the drill. Fanny's boyfriend is a former soldier in the 101st Airborne Division. He put the two of them through a modified boot camp last summer.

Harold: We'll see. [He removes the tape from their mouths and notices Doris following him with her eyes. He gets up right in her face and yells Marine Corps Drill Sergeant style] ARE YOU IN LOVE WITH ME, MARINE?

Doris: SIR, NO SIR!

Harold: THEN WHY WERE YOU EYE BALLING ME?

Doris: SIR, SORRY SIR!

Harold: DO YOU LIKE BOSTON?

Doris: SIR, NO SIR!

Harold: THEN GET DOWN AND PUSH IT AWAY!

[Doris starts doing perfect male Marine push ups and yells in cadence: “1..2...3, etc.]

Harold: [Standing now nose to nose with Fanny] WIPE THAT GRIN OFF YOUR FACE, DOG SOLDIER! DOES MY MARINE CORPS MAKE YOU SMILE?

Fanny: SIR, YES SIR!

Harold: THEN DROP DOWN AND GIVE ME 20 PUSH UPS FOR THE U.S. MARINE CORPS – STILL THE FINEST ASSAULT TROOPS ON THE PLANET!

Fanny: SIR, YES SIR! [Drops down and starts doing push ups beside Doris and starts her own count]

Harold: [To Bernie while the woman are doing push ups] I'm very impressed...What else military can they do?

Bernie: Just about everything we could do after 16 weeks of Parris Island boot camp in 1967.

Harold: Weapons training too?

Bernie: The D.I. Who trained them was himself a Drill Sergeant at Army BCT for about a year at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina...This was after several tours in Iraq as a sniper who had over one hundred confirmed kills...

[The women are well over 20 push ups each and are beginning to show sweat on the exercise suits.]

Harold: Okay...the point is made...stop it [The women ignore him and keep on doing push ups and counting cadence] Will you two stop? I don't remember how to halt push ups. [They both stop and laugh]

Bernie: Want to hit the showers, ladies?

Fanny: We haven't done our mile run yet! How many laps around the property for a mile?

Bernie: Sixteen.

[Doris and Fanny are doing a jog in place]

Fanny: Okay...We'll be showered, dressed and back here in an hour.

[The women jog to the door and exit stage right]

Harold: This is going to work!

[SCENE: An hour later in the same room as before. Fanny and Doris have changed into shorts, tank tops and flip flops – Florida style. Bernie is seated next to them on the front row in Butler dress except for the coat. Harold is dressed as before in a grey business suit and facing his small audience. At his back is a large movie house size screen with a large skyscraper centered in the downtown of a large American city.]

Harold: First of all let me introduce himself: I'm Harold T. Washington – the owner and CEO of Blackwing Security, Inc. You may have heard of us in relation to the Iraq War. Do you remember the 2003 famous picture of the contractors lynched by the Republican Guard in Baghdad? Those six men were my employees and highly trained special operators who were looking for Saddam and his evil sons....

Fanny: This is all very interesting, but cut to the chase...Can you get security in the Prudential Building to stand down while we do what has to be done?

Harold: Of course, young lady, they are my employees! And I will be alone in the control room tomorrow night as acting shift supervisor.

Doris: What about police?

Harold: There will be no police unless I call them and I won't...

Bernie: The mayor will have the Boston PD with him?

Harold: Maybe a few security guards that come and go with him. The mayor's reception will be restricted to the ballroom and my guards will prevent unauthorized building tours.

Fanny: Okay... after the mayor's party breaks up around 9 p.m. and the building secured at 10 p.m., there will be no one upstairs except for us and the bad guys?

Harold: Yes, all civilians above the basement level will be gone by ten p.m. and the front entrance secured. The lower level garages will be secured as well from entry but open to exit by vehicles all night. When the building is locked down and secured, the guards will be sent home, and I will be the only security guard on duty.

Doris: What about the clean up crews?

Harold: The evening and night shift have been cancelled. The clean up will not start until Sunday morning. This will give a good long head start to those interested in seeing other parts the world...

Bernie: So you think no one besides us will be aware what happened Friday until Sunday morning?

Harold: It would stand to reason that someone would want to know why their “partner” didn't return home and call the cops on Saturday morning...and the police may roll over to the Prud and take a look at the 48th floor conference room...

Fanny: Even at worse case outcome, we get at least several hours head start...

Bernie: I would estimate anywhere from three hours to 24...So we plan to be on the road within the three hour worse case outcome.

Doris: Harold, you do plan to get out of town? It won't take the cops long to realize that you're involved...

Harold: Bernie and I will team up and go west....far, far, FAR west.

Doris: What about your family?

Harold: Wife dead for over ten years...Kids raised and middle aged.

Bernie: ...we both decided to relive our youth as Marine Corps war brothers in the Wild Far East.

Harold: I think we can leave the details for later, but the men will head west and the women go south after the deed is done.

[Harold pushes a button on the remote and a detailed diagram of the 48th floor appears. He pushes another function and a camera mounted on a person takes a walk from the freight elevator to the conference room.]

Harold: This is what you'll see walking from the freight elevator to the conference room. You will note that it is an interior room, so people could get very loud up there and it would be impossible for anyone inside or outside the building to know what's going on.

Fanny: Telephones...computers?

Harold: The land line telephones will be switched off before the kill team goes up the freight elevator and the cellphone signal jammed. The Wi-Fi signal to the computer will be turned off as well. The conference room communication with the outside world will not be possible. Those people will be isolated and killed in the middle of a large American city.

Bernie: So you can see, young ladies, that our plan is the best one to date.

Fanny: Yes, I agree. We get all the bad guys at one fell swoop instead just the leader of the gang.

Doris: Of course, we didn't know beforehand about a friend on the inside.

Fanny: Speaking of that friend...

Harold: I'm right here and you can speak directly to me.

Doris: I don't need to know more about Harold – If Bernie says he's good people – he's good people.

Fanny: Bernie, I thought I knew everything about you! Why didn't you tell me about Harold?

Harold: [waving his hand] Do you want the short version of the Harold-Bernie relationship?

Doris: I would like the long version with details of the drunken orgies in the Far East with willing Asian love girls...

Fanny: SHUT UP, DORIS!

Harold: The short version is that we both joined the USMC in early January, 1967 and went to the same boot camp at Parris Island. As a specialization when we trained with the replacement battalion in Hawaii, and were assigned to be M-60 machine gunners...In early February 1968 our battalion was sent in to replace a bloodied unit in the Battle of Hue. Bernie and I saw mucho hot combat in Hue. When that battle was concluded we went all over Eye Corps as part of an assault battalion that was sent into difficult actions against superior enemy forces. About one week before our 13 month tour was ended in 1969 we were both wounded and ended up at Clark, AFB in the Philippines for several months. When we were stable enough for rehab, we were put on a hospital plane for Walter Reed in Washington, D.C. In a matter of months, the experts had us Marines 100% recovered and fit for duty at the Marine Corps barracks in Washington, D.C. where we both – believe it or not! - received Honorable Discharges in early 1971 with full veteran benefits...

Fanny: So what? Lots of men served together in the Armed Forces in difficult conditions...But then comes jobs...marriage … families and ...years.

Bernie: You see we were USMC WAR BROTHERS! Time and situations change, but once you are a war brothers, you're always and forever, war brothers. It's sacred bond and only death do us part.

Doris: Sounds like marriage to me.

Bernie: It is...just without the sex...with one another...that is. There was that time in Honolulu and...

Harold: The crazy tourist girl from Kansas who thought we both looked liked “studs”...?

Bernie: The short version without sex continues....I saved Harold in combat.

Harold: And I wouldn't have believed a little guy like Bernie could run under heavy fire, throw me like a rag doll over his shoulder and get me to safety after being shot in the butt himself. As if that's not enough, he passes out from loss of blood because he makes the Navy Corpsman patch me up first, And as if THAT wasn't enough, when MEDVAC chopper finally gets us back to an Army MASH unit, Bernie pulls his .45 automatic pistol on a doggie doctor who says I'm a goner and won't treat me...

Bernie:A man gotta do what a man gotta do...But the bottom line is that Harold was saved to fight another day, and I got off because the wounded Army grunts told the doc they definitely would shoot him if he ratted out a combat Bro..

Fanny: I see...Harold owed you.

Bernie: The marker can be out there for decades...but if it is called, the payment is due immediately on the basis of a life for a life.

Doris: [Tears in her eyes] That's so beautiful! It's kind of a male macho version of “Love Story” which took place in Boston during the winter...

Fanny: Not quite...

Bernie: I didn't like that movie, the beautiful girl died at the end.

Harold:...now you know about my motivation and my relationship with Bernie.

Bernie: [Looks at his watch] Okay, let's break for the afternoon. I'm going to prepare us a steak supper with wine for this evening. The dress will be casual. We'll discuss the nuts and bolts of the plan after we eat. Then we break for a good night's sleep. Tomorrow will be a busy day.

Doris: ...which will end with the execution of the Strelski...

Harold: The what?

The "Amparo" legal writ from a Mexican court only protects Idema from arrest while he is in residence at his home. Hence, when he came to his senses in a hospital at 12:30 a.m. last Tuesday, he departed in haste and made his way back to his Casa Arabi Sex Resort, where he is ill and dying.

Jack Idema has become skin and bones with purple lesions all over his body, and in the words of his Mexican doctor, "mucho loco" - very crazy. This physician also claims he has a bad drug addiction to Nalbufina that he injects several times a day. When the doctor refused to give him this drug at the hospital, Idema begged him for mercy. The physician's medical opinion was that Idema is terminal and could die at any time.

We mentioned this morning that the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan was headed for Bremerton – and lots of folks subsequently watched as it headed past West Seattle shores in the past hour and a half or so. Bob A shares the above photo, taken from North Admiral, and also looked up its stats:

Ex-GI charged with trying to aid Somalia’s Shabab

A former U.S. Army veteran who had done earlier tours in Iraq and South Korea faced charges Monday that he had tried to enlist with Somalia's al-Shabab terrorist group. Craig Benedict Baxam, a 24-year-old Army vet trained in intelligence and cryptology, allegedly flew to Africa to join up with al-Shabab and provide the group with material support, according to the charges filed against him in a Greenbelt, Md., courtroom.

Baxam had been "surfing the Internet from his Army base in South Korea last summer when he came across an Islamic religious website," the Baltimore Sun's Matthew Hay Brown reported Tuesday. Baxam--who comes from Laurel, Md.--returned to his home state after he'd secretly converted to Islam at the end of his deployment in South Korea. At that point, Brown writes, he "began to make plans to live out his life in a land governed by Sharia law. He would never make it."

Late last month, Baxam cashed in his $3500 Army retirement savings and bought a plane ticket to Kenya. Soon after his arrival, he was pulled off a bus near Mombasa after a seat-mate had inquired about his plans. Kenyan police turned over Baxam to the FBI office in Nairobi, and he "was arrested upon his return to Maryland last week," Brown wrote.

"In an affidavit filed earlier Monday, FBI Special Agent John B. Phillips III said Baxam considered it his duty to undertake his hijra, or migration to a Muslim land," Brown wrote. "Phillips said Baxam was carrying between $600 and $700 when he was pulled off a bus and arrested outside Mombasa, Kenya. He said Baxam planned to offer the money to al-Shabaab, to join the group and to take up arms to defend it from the United States, if necessary."

Baxam, a 2005 graduate of Laurel High School, "joined the Army in 2007 and completed eight months of advanced training in cryptology and intelligence at Goodfellow Air Force Base in Texas," Brown wrote. He deployed to Iraq in 2008, and to South Korea in 2010 for a one-year tour.

It was in Korea only "days before his separation from the Army" that Baxam secretly converted to Islam, Brown wrote. "He was afraid to search for al-Shabaab from his home computer, Phillips said, 'because he is aware of the capabilities of the United States government,' " Brown wrote. Before heading to Baltimore airport Dec. 20, Baxam destroyed his computer, Phillips said.

At his arraignment hearing Monday, Baxam, dressed in a "white robe, a thick black beard and sandals," replied "yes" to the judge's questions whether he understood the charge against him, Brown said. He could face a maximum sentence of 15 years.

JACK IDEMA: HOSPITALIZED IN MEXICO AND SOON DEAD FROM AIDS

BREAKING NEWS:

This author has received information from a confidential informant that self styled "Super Patriot" Jack Idema was been taken by ambulance to a hospital in Chetumal, Mexico this morning and is expected to die soon of AIDS.

If this information is correct, it would mark the second time in less than a month that Idema has been hospitalized with serious AIDS related illnesses. The first health emergency happened on December 19, 2011, when Mexican paramedics were called to his Casa Arabi Sex Resort. The medics were able to stabilize Idema's condition and he was transported to a local hospital, where he recovered in time for the holidays and was discharged.

The Mexican consulate in New York City has confirmed this report is true, but no word yet from the Mexican Embassy in Washington, D.C.

It is also reported that Idema has a new female partner who has been identified as Elaine Roach (nationality not known) who has acted as his lover, nurse and "Sugar Momma" to bankroll his lifestyle and support his ongoing criminal activities. This new Idema groupie is reported to be in her 50s and "blond and very stupid." It would appear the two met as neighbors in Mexico when Elaine was married, but a sexual relationship developed despite the fact she had been given a certified copy of Idema's medical report that confirmed he had AIDS.

Idema's last wish was to be buried at Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors as "a highly decorated Special Forces combat veteran." The Department of Army information office at the Pentagon declined to comment on Idema's last request, but did say that burial space at Arlington was "very restricted" and that his humble entreaty very likely would not be granted by the Army Chief of Staff.
